2021 AlFA romeo oil light reset

Here is a written out form of the instructions. 1. DO NOT start the car or push the start button to turn the ignition on. Leave everything off. 2. Push the gas pedal to the floor and leave it there throughout the procedure (until step 7.) 3. Push the brake pedal down 6 times and hold it down for 5 seconds on the 6th time. 4. Release the brake pedal. 5. push the start button once to turn on the ignition. Gas pedal is STILL down. 6. Repeat step 3. After at least 5 seconds, release the brake pedal. 7. Release gas pedal, turn off ignition. Start the car and check to see if the oil light is gone.

Thanks for your efforts, Craig, but unfortunately, this didn't work for me. Here's a better/simpler way to do it (tested successfully on my 2021 Stelvio Ti-Sport and a fellow forum member's 2018 Stelvio): UPDATED 5/7/24 (Just had my second oil change and this is the only way it works): 1) Unlock your car, sit inside, and close the door. 2) Push the Start button without pressing the brake to enter Auxiliary mode; wait about 5 seconds while the dash lights up. 3) Immediately push the throttle/gas pedal with your foot all the way down 10 times quickly without taking your foot off the pedal until all 10 are complete (push down all the way and come up all the way with each push). 4) Remove your foot from the throttle/gas pedal and push the Start button to shut down the car 5) Put your foot on the brake and push the Start button to start the car and the Oil Change Required warning will be gone. All the best! :)

@@lisaalony415 You're right. I just had my second oil change and the original method didn't work. I finally figured out the correct way to do it for 2021 models. I'm not sure if this applies for other years, but you can try. See my original post above for the edited/working method.

Blink Mileage is a sign that something with the Proxy-Configuration. The dealership may be the best place to diagnosis that issue. Hopefully this helps.
