I purchased my new Dacia Sandero 2021 Comfort CVT (Non-Stepway) for 12890 Euros, around 7+ months back, and have driven it for more than 2300 kms till now, Across city roads, Autobahns etc. I must say that this vehicle is very easy and relaxed to drive around, thanks to the Automatic Transmission and Electronic Power Steering. It has a 328 litre boot, which is more than enough for my shopping needs. I get a gas mileage of 6.6 L / 100 km, and I am more than satisfied with this vehicle for the price that I have paid. If I have to describe this vehicle in four words....(1) Simple, (2) Smooth, (3) Reliable and (4) Affordable.

In town area without traffic jam it can stay below 8l / 100 km ? Smooth ride 3~ 3.5k rpm max at accelerations.

@@Wex-us Yes, In town driving it can stay below 8L / 100 km, with relaxed acceleration/braking, take advantage of the car's inertia, keep the start/stop system on, perform all scheduled services on time. I also try to avoid short car trips (< 5 km) in cold weather, as much as possible, check my tyre pressure every 3 months, and remove unnecessary items from the trunk to reduce weight and avoid driving in heavy traffic whenever possible. If we try all these, then achieving even 7 L / 100 km in town is possible.

I think you should add in the title that this is a cvt - x-tronic version :) there is a lot off pov drives with manual gearbox, and not a lot cvt's. Chears mate.

Thank you, made the edit, so it seems X-tronic makes Dacia more expensive if there's manual ones only haha.

I recommend for everyone Bosch silicone wipers. I have them 2nd year on my old car and they are still silent.

That picks up well with very little effort. I had the same car but with manual box, took some getting used to but nice engine, comfy ride.

Are the materials inside good quality?

Materials are good enough for that price tag, still same plastic but at least design is quite nice. Also these textile decorations are looking good.

Does renault produce cvt gearbox? So, which brand cvt gearbox does dacia use? Subaru, Nissan or its own cvt gearbox?

I was wondering that. Didnt know they did this with a CVT. Ive had Subaru CVT and driven eCVT with Toyota. Would be interesting to know the setup here.

@charlestaylor8566 hope your car arrived and youre enjoying it 👍. I ended up with a used Lexus hybrid but the insurance and maintenance costs (parts, servicing, tyres) are outrageous. Superb MPG but thats about it. I may end up getting one of these instead, ive had enough of manual boxes so it would be the CVT version.
