@@DownshiftPass About the seats, how do I say this… Any impression about how a larger fella might fit in them? Larger in both the sense of being tall over 6‘3“ but also in the sense of a dude who doesn’t miss many meals. :-) Still plenty of room with those side and shoulder bolsters?

@@jpstoehner Haha! I love your descriptors! The seats are pretty comfortable and tightly bolstered (for a crossover), but they are not unbearably tight. Height wise, I think you'd be fine. As far as the sides and shoulders I think it would depend on your level of comfortability with sportier seats, either way, you'll fit into them just fine! The engineers understood the market for the vehicle, its a Mustang, but its not a Mustang if that makes sense! LOL

Beautiful car would love one of these, so many people complain that it not a Mustang or shouldn't have the pony on it coz it's electric, people need to get over it ,times are changing and soon all vehicles will be electric,I've had a Mustang before and would be more than happy to have a Mustang Mach e in any version or model, or power output in either Rwd or AWD 👌👍 good job ford 👌👌

It’s because of the camera, I’ve been in a Mach e and you can’t see the lights at all.

Dear Ford Company (if you read this): the success of this Mach e Mustang is and will be so spectacular that you should strongly consider make MUSTANG a luxury sports brand with all sorts of models.you will be come the reliable Jaguar brand. You have ford for the general public (the Mach e under the Ford banner would have never worked on the European market because Ford is considered here as a cheep brand) and you have Lincoln luxury cars (in Europe they would have difficulty to compete with Mercedes, Audi and BMW. But a MUSTANG new brad, devoted to luxury sports cars, you will have a public, if you keep prices available. You will beat Tesla on their game.

Comparing the Mach e gt to the model y performance which has the better ride quality and quietest interior

Both go to Mach-E in my opinion. The direct competitor to this GT model is the Model Y Performance, and those huge 21 inch wheels make the ride a little choppy. Also, the Tesla doesn't feel as well built and stable at speed as the Mustang. I believe the Mustang is the overall better purchase. I did a review of the Model Y Performance as well. The Styling is nice when compared to the Tesla but I'm a performance person and I'm not about to pay 70 grand for a car that falls on its face after 5 Seconds! It's Tesla counterpart runs the quarter mile in the high 11s range and 118 miles an hour the Mustang goes through the quarter-mile traps at 103mph and the Mustang has more HP

This should be the same for all Fords with power lift gates, as one button is for the interior and the other exterior. The unlabeled button is the same you’d press from outside the vehicle, it’s just visible once the trunk is open.

And most people could care less if it’s a GT or not. Only the insecure people will. I have a 2019 mustang GT convertible with a premium paint and over the top stripe. I look down on anyone who has a lesser equipped vert. /s I ordered the premium ER AWD, because I wanted thicker sidewall tires for a better ride and have the glass roof without paying extra. I know mag ride is available but those are expensive to replace.

It's because of the Dysmal power curve of the Borg Warner Drive units they used. If you look up the design spec of the drive units it peaks real fast then falls flat on its face due to back EMF. For those that think Ford is going to OTA update software for a drive unit that they didn't even make for software they didn't even write then I have a box of straws just out of reach for you.

I do agree, it should be called Stallion. But Ford knows what works and boy did that Mustang name help sell these things. Ford said recently that the Mach-E has surpassed their expectations by a large margin. So we can complain all we want but the average consumer doesn't care at all and the marketing 100% worked. I do hope after this EV becomes more stable (no horse pun intended) that they end up rebranding it to the Stallion.
