Story Time: I ordered the 2020 Telluride SX Prestige in February 2020 but due to the global circumstances, my vehicle was delayed delivery until June 2020. I was contacted by the dealership and they notified me that I was upgraded to the 2021 but when I saw the Nightfall, I de-committed the purchase and ordered one with the Nightfall package. I honestly don’t care when I receive this but the order is in and I’ll get it eventually. Keep up the great content and stay safe. [Edit: Typos]

It seems like Kia actually understands "Nightfall". They didn't cheapen out on the trim by offer just black wheels and a grille. No, they darkened out EVERYTHING, down to the lug nuts! Totally worth the wait for you.

HellKitty 101 I was planning to plastidip the chrome and skid plates on the SX I had ordered but this is a no-brainer permanent solution. I’m not a huge fan of chrome on vehicles and I’m glad companies are making special editions like this for a premium.

Kia really brought its game to the hyper-competitive big 3-row class. If Kia had the US manufacturing capacity as say, Toyota or Ford, I see no reason this thing would not be a Top 3 product in the class. They're literally selling already pre-sold as they hit dealer's lots a full YEAR after it came out...whereas Explorers, also new, are languishing on dealers lots and require cash on hood to move. In striking a mainstream/luxury theme with a striking design, big interior, useful features, competent performance, and Kia's long warranty and above avg reliability, it really is the Swiss army knife of the class.

Pulling the strap is a lot faster than the button push auto system; the strap takes less than a second while the button takes about 4secs. But for shorter people or kids the straps can be hard to reach, especially if they've been pushed up by moving cargo. I'm 6'3 and even I have to crawl in to reach sometimes. Other than manufacturing costs, why not have both options so that you can use either?

Im glad Kia still lets you get every interior color with the nightfall package, as opposed to other companies which lock you into a black interior. Very important to me because I wont buy cars with a black interior.

I took delivery of my Nightfall edition SX with the Prestige package one week ago and am in love! It has every option available and is worth it! Love the gauges vs a total digital readout. The ride is solid but smooth. The interior is comfortable and great on road trips. Learning about the adaptive cruise control but it’s a very nice safety feature. Loved my Ford Eco-boost engine and was afraid I’d miss it, but the pickup is impressive in the Telluride and the gas mileage is much better!

I do like the Nightfall package, but not enough to trade in my green sx with black rims. Got mine back in March 2019. I love this vehicle. I feel like it's fast when need to, has enough storage space, all-wheel drive is responsive, gas mileage is great, and overall quality makes this the best bang for your buck.

We were planning to buy a telluride, but here in nor cal the mark up on al trims are crazy high. Around 44k for the base trim when its showing an msrp of below 35k on kia website. As much as we wanted to buy one, we had to go with a mazda cx 9 due to the pricing difference. Will be getting our cx 9 later this day. This video just made me salivate more for a telluride tho.

Buying myself one as soon as I pass the NCLEX and am a new nurse this year! This is going to be my graduation gift to MYSELF, I’m moving up from a Nissan Juke that has had countless issues. My son is getting older and we have been looking for something bigger, with more trunk space for bigger bikes/sports equipment, friends, and that we can take on road trips. I live in Washington state, so we definitely needed an SUV with a solid winter package as well. The Telluride seems to check all of my boxes, and the Nightfall edition is just gorgeous! The appearance is what sold me, I was torn between this and the 2022 Hyundai Tucson coming out, but hated the lines they put on it. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Great job, Kia! 🖤

I had to fight to get my SX-P for MSRP all the way back in March and I think pricing from dealerships has gotten even worse! The supply and demand curve will only be cured if people stop wanting this truck so badly. I love my Telly but honestly, I would never pay more than sticker for a car. Just ordered mine yesterday! Everlasting Silver EX with Nightfall and Prestige package. Straight pimp. Dealer told me 3-4 months. I'm willing to wait. I've always driven Highlanders and Pilots. While they're great cars this Telluride blows it away in pretty much everyway. We'll see about reliability as it ages but at this point I'm not worried and I'll buy an extended warranty anyway.

Last year when I was looking I tried to test drive a Telluride, but as you say, they didn’t have any on the lot. I was told that I would basically have to order one, and I was very uncomfortable with that as I had never been in a Kia before. So, I ended up with the VW Atlas. I love my car, but I really love the look and apparent reliability of the Telluride too. Looks to be a nice solid vehicle. Excellent and very informative video guys as always!

Darieon Long cars are fun and reflect your style. Sadly the expensive ones are not good financial investments because of depreciation and how much they cost with gas insurance and maintenance and the fact that they lose a lot of value the second they are driven off the lot. But if you have a lot of money to throw around after you pay rent and groceries tithe savings and bills then a fancy car is a luxury. I hope you get a stinger but the corvette is the best one Chevy has ever made!!!

In a random sample of ten used Tellurides from CarFax.com from Orlando, FL to Norco, CA-- and literally Peoria, IL-- I found the average pre-owned listing at $1797 OVER original MSRP. These Tellurides which were a mixture of LX to SX models and mainly consisted of the mainstream S and EX trims, were listed at 104.38% of original MSRP. This is slightly more than the average new list pricing of 3% over sticker . These Tellurides ranged from 4421 to 31,484 used miles and averaged 16,716.80 used miles. I am too trying to decide if my next car will be the 2021 Kia Stinger GT2 or a 2021 Chevy Corvette. I'll wait and see if the Z06 comes out next year, and if Kia brings their full digital dash to the Stinger.

Love a Kia. I’ve had a few and you can kill these vehicles. My favorite is my Borrego. I’ve had it for 11 years and it looks and drive brand new. Just hitting 200,thousand mls. I wish the Telluride was as big as the Borrego. I just need that extra room.

Kellie Skerrett-Clark hi, are you sure the Telluride is smaller on the inside? I had the XM Kia Sorento that came out around the same time as he Borrego. Kia has become very efficient in their interior packaging. You may want to see if the Telluride would work for you and your family? We love ours.

When its time for you to trade in and resell it I guarantee they will give you peanuts. LOL, I have Lexus LS 400 with 440 Kmiles, LX 570, and Solara with 350 K mikes. Based on my experience I did well. You can put all those fancy kinds of stuff in the car but it won't persuade me. Experience is the key.

This is literally my dream spec. SX V6, grey, Nightfall and Prestige with the white interior. Perfect. Two questions I haven’t seen answered anywhere: 1. Since it has the wireless charging pad, does it have wireless Apple CarPlay or do you have to plug it in still? 2. Does it have an app or anything to start it remotely from your phone? I live in Georgia so we have very hot summers and very cold winters and it would be nice to get the climate right before I even get to to the car. Thanks.

I wanted an SX. Went to pick it up after deposit was put down. The next day they let me know that they were going $4000 over MSRP raising monthly payment $110. Very disappointed, but very hot vehicle.

Johnny Dwyer after having a couple of my flashy vehicles stolen or car jacked I always go for low-key and I’m happy to blend in. I’ll take boring every day of the week now. But the Palisade is sharp.
