It’s a nice car for sure, however I would definitely buy the FWD 350 for basically the same price. I own a 2020 Camry XLE with the 2.5 4 cylinder and it’s a great engine for the purpose of that car being a reliable comfortable basic sedan, however it doesn’t suit the character and aim of the Lexus ES.

Love the new ES, though I don’t like how sluggish the 2.5L engine is, so V6 Ultra Luxury FWD for me 🙌.

It's definitely a decent car. The 2.5L engine does not belong in it though. Maybe if it was turbocharged like in the Genesis G80 which would be the car I'd pick in this class of vehicle.

I disagree. I have a 2022 with 170k miles and hasn’t had one issue at all with drivetrain or anything. Why wouldn’t u want a natural aspirated engine. The genesis is trash… Kia makes genesis… and they are trash.

Why is the es 250 the same price range as an ES 350? I don't understand the difference between the two cars.

You said standard all wheel drive comes on every trim es and that is incorrect. It only comes on the es250 not the es350.

This review was only about the 250 which is what I listed in the title. The 350 I typically will review in its own video but you are correct about the 350. 👍🏻

Lexus should’ve just used The 2.5V6! It’s slow too but At least it’s a smooth power train! Seeing how the 1st Gen ES had a 2.5V6 too.. A 4 Cylinder doesn’t belong in a Lexus!!
