Amazing content guys, we have a 19 RDX so I love seeing anything for this platform. One idea on content, curious if you're seeing these new turbo engines come in with the build up from direct injection yet. Would love to see the "Honda" way of addressing, or cleaning this so we can keep these cars on the road for 200k, 300k+ miles 😉

@@cbruno12180 most mods are unnecessary. But (1) it is a cool project as a DIY to learn (2) makes my car unique and good conversation piece (3) it's just pretty damn awesome to upgrade something and improve on the original. That's what life's about, always improving and getting better.

Always love the videos that come from AHC garage! Keep it up. So looking at the PRL intake kit I'm happy to see they included a support rod for the air duct. Once these are tuned that air duct flexes and can collapse to restrict the turbo. Unfortunately for us RDX folks there is no further intake support. Would be awesome to have an upgrade in the future that would leverage that air duct and remove the factory resonator on the intake. In the meantime this is a great solution. Accompany this with the PRL inlet pipe for the fk8 and you have possibly the best system available for the RDX at this point. Next lets see a downpipe and maybe the Phaerable stage 3 tune.

We will re-perform the alignment after the lowering springs are settled. Most of the items are torqued off camera so we are not dragging it longer

A find the performance improvements a little suspect. I know the intercooler upgrade prevents heat-soak but did I miss another upgrade besides the intake? I don't believe an intake would cause that much of a performance difference and actually very little. Please help, since I do have a 2021 RDX and want to increase performance. The RDX is my daily. I don't own performance cars anymore as I don't have the time to enjoy them. Thank you. Update on 11/21/2023. I didn't notice the ECU re-flash in BOLD, so that was the reason for my original comment. I am looking into getting my RDX to have 350 at both ends. Anyone on here have such a set-up?

After the tune he was just stabbing the throttle from idle. If had TC off and power braked it it would have cut 1.9 - 2.0 60fts and dropped the 1/4 by another 4/10ths. (I've been a drag racer since the mid 80s) On a prepped track, practice in launching it, and cooler air I'm confident it'll cut a 13.9 at 96mph. Maybe even better w/a down pipe upgrade.
