Parents have a ‘20 x40i, it’s by far my favorite vehicle they’ve owned. Interior room is surprisingly small for such a big vehicle, but besides that, zero complaints

@@dgdave2673 it wouldnt be such an issue but the front seats really have to be kinda reclined and pushed far back to he comfortable, which obviously limits rear row space. Especially with the bulky luxury seating package.

Coming from a 2017 X5 xdrive35i with M sport and M Performance exhaust i found the 2019 X5 xdrive40i i test drove significantly different. The B58 sounds much different and much quieter than my 2017. It certainly takes off faster but the lack of exhaust burbles and crackling also the synthetic engine sounds inside put me off. I have to say the seats were comfy on the test run!

X5’s are sweet. We love our Xdrive40i X6 too. Such a smooth drive around the city with decent low end torque.

I got a M50i with B&W sound, Assisted Driving, Speed and Traffic light assist, 2 axle suspension, massaging seats, crystal controls, and I can go on. Having all the features and all this power with all the luxury makes this car worth $100k. I would never pay $80k for a 40i, or pay $95k for a M50i without B&W sound. Paying little extra makes from a good car, a superb car.

The Manhattan Green Metallic with the M black package is a great combination, I’ve seen a few X5 on the road now, they were absolutely gorgeous. Inside I would opt for the BMW Individual Merino Coffee leather seats, best combo with the green car colour 👍 Can anyone tell me why the adaptive high beam light is deactivated for US market cars? Is it a legal thing? In Europe we don’t have an issue with it, it’s a valuable feature that automatically masks out the high beam area of oncoming traffic

I have the same package with the lighter Cognac leather. Works well. Head light adaptive system not legal in North America but if regulations change, software switch can activate.

BMW make beautiful SUV , in 2009 I got an X5 sport packet dark blue outside and like caramel on the inside. The only thing that got me disappointed after the warranty expired be prepared to spend money !

What a great content but am very disappointed with my brand new 2022 BMW X5 and after 4 months of ownership here in Vienna, Austria, I start hearing some strange squeaking noises when turning the steering wheel to full lock on both direction and also developed some weird sound when applying the brake on slow speed. To park it on a 45° angle slope, the front suspension sounded like a 1830 car or sounded like the whole front suspension wanted to fell off and its so embarrassing hearing such noises on a €116,000 (euros) car. I contacted my BMW dealership here in Vienna Austria (europe) and they told me that I have to apply 100% brake pressure or for me to try doing emergency braking on the highway maybe that will solve the problem. Car drive great but the front suspension squeaking when making a full steering input and also brakes noises turns me off totally as I am a 1st time bmw owner..... is anyone experiencing the same as me after 3-8 months of ownership?????

It’s because X5 comes with high end brakes, you need to drive longer and exceed 6000-8000km to smoothen the breaks. It’s normal, don’t worry about it but the steering squeaking noise is questionable.

This car is notorious of having air suspension, oil/water cooler, ABS, general oil and fluid leaks, interior/motor, and heat problems!! Kinda wonder why pay that much 💰 💴 when after the 60k M threshold all this shit starts to surface. Please share after sale issues ….screw the car if I am gonna be haunted by its mechanical shortcomings
