2022 CHALLENGER HELLCAT: will it START after 3.5 months in storage??

Picking up my '22 Hellcat after 3.5 months in Storage; plus some POV driving. Didn't have time to disconnect the battery (!) when I parked this brand new car in the garage on December 14th, 2022. HUGE THANKS again to East Side Dodge in Calgary and my sales guy Steven Bacchus for getting me into this amazing car! Give them a call if you like Dodge muscle cars!

Very nice. The guy was talking about a deep polish, paint correction and a cermaic coating. It's not a wrap, it's more like another clear coat but very low friction, protects the paint and makes it easy to clean, it's like having a wax applied but lasts much longer than wax. It should be heat cured onto the car using lamps

Ceramic coating is clear liquid thats has a "9H hardness" makes the car much easier to wash its very slick to the touch and and doesn't let dirt stick to the paint as bad and gives the paint a wet look all the time,and protects the finish from uv rays but you should hand wash it at least 2 times a month , and use a ceramic topper to make it last a full 9 years, a wrap is vinyl or you can get ppv clear protection and Ceramic coat over it for more protection, The Demon 170 is an ethenol fueled 1025 horsepower beast

When I put my Challenger away I tie a string to the inside trunk release . I close doors and leave trunk open remove car battery and bring in house and put on battery tender . When I need in car in spring unlock door with key and pull string to open trunk

when they were ordering this can in July '22 from the factory, they selected all options available. maybe the car also got a bigger battery? i don't' know but i did bring some cash with me, in case I'd need to pay the guys in the shop to boost me. the car now is getting the pcm update and rust protection. I should pick it up early next week.

Since your tires are brand new maybe you can get a tire shop to exchange them out for some all seasons ? That’s a beautiful car.

from what i've read, all season tires offer mediocre performance for high horse power cars. it's best to have dedicated summer tires and then switch to winter tires.... 717 HP is no joke. good tires are a must.

this one has a manual mode too. you push the shifter all the way to the left (towards Driver); and you can shift gears either with the paddles on the steering wheel or by pushing/pulling the shifter. no need to use the clutch anymore.... i like this setup better than the 100% manual...

well, it has 31% of the torque my Kenworth T-880 had (2,050 lb-ft vs 650), BUT it has 18.5% more horse power (717 vs 605)! what not to like? ;) i bet i can beat a Kenworth from 0 to 60!

Chrome polish will remove the rust front the steel wool without hurting anything.

The rust is from the moisture in the exhaust rusting the steel wool. Just wipe it out or leave it. Exhaust will clean it out.

I heard that guy mention ceramic coating. I had it done to my wife’s car, it’s great! Looks like you waxed every time you wash it. However, if you choose to do it make sure you do some research. Not all are the same, and not everyone does it correctly. For comparison, I paid a lot more for my wife’s here in the US and I have a 8 yr warranty.
