2022 Kia Forte Review Wrong MPG Displayed

Long Fast Highway Drive with a great car... Under $24000 during C-19 shortage is great.. 38mpg is really great...Not happy onboard shows 42mpg as this is more than 11% off what is really happening BUT, everything else is top notch..

Awesome car and warranty! Love the style! The Forte is the Kia version of the Hyundai Elantra. Hyundai advertised that the Elantra had more interior room than the larger Nissan Maxima. Pat uses the remote start in the morning for her Elantra via Hyundai Blue Link app on her phone.

Oh WOW we both saw the truck without the cap. Congrats guys! Tim found the video. We took our oldest to Van der veer in fall 2020 he got a really cool blue forte. We matched his 1800 so he had a good down payment. It's a good car for his commute to work. We got a soul there in 2017. We kinda are looking at the Seltos for a travel vehicle for us 2 as soon as the twins move out in may 2024. And we can get out there! Snowing a bunch tonight in massillon. Great review. Brenda & Tim

I have a 2022 GT- Line (in blue) on order. Should be here in another six weeks. My dealer is charging me MSRP - no mark up. I got both the premium and sport premium packages and basically its loaded to the gills. 10-way power seat, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, Harman-Kardon premium sound system, dual zone climate controls and just about every safety and driver assist feature you can imagine (like the adaptive cruise control). Its a hair over $25,000 before tax and license. I'm glad to see you cruising along the freeway so smoothly and quietly. I did most of my test drive in town.

Good video I just purchased a 2023 Kia Forte lxs pearl white 26200 on April 2023 happy with it was looking at a 2023 Corolla it was 30000 it had 15 inc plastic hub caps so I went with the forte for 4 thousand less looks better than the Corolla dealers got theses marked up by 5grand forte the best car for the monies😊

My wife and I bought the exact same car. Ours is a white 2022 LXS trim with black interior. Our situation was similar not a lot of inventory on their lot either but we knew what car we were looking for and luck was on our side. I’m babying this thing lol. I’m 6ft 2

actually, smart mode is also economy mode, when it turns blue, it goes into economy and you will definitely get more mpg. I've had this car since January and the most mpg i've gotten is actually 70 on smart mode. i only fill up half the tank for 30 bucks every 2 weeks. And i drive 100 miles a week. I love my car honestly

Great video! I just bought a 2022Forte EX here in Canada. Only 240 kms on it so far, had 108 when I got it. Still haven't tried shifting in Sport mode. Is it a simple click to the left anthem up once and or back once? Or are there more gears to click thru?

also Gas pumps actually never trully fill up your tank as a "safety precausion", but you can actually fill up a car 2 gallons more than what the gas pumps claims

the mpg reading is an average and is not accurate and never has been on all the Hyundai and Kia products I have driven. Actual calculations shows that the computer can be up to 5 mpg off. The actual EPA documentation is 40MPG. Here is the thing, this gives you the MPG for that moment in time. If you reset the MPG average while cruising at a steady speed for a few moments your average MPG will read in excess of 60MPG and will adjust downward as you drive

Do not use cruise control on the Forte! If you notice at 60mph (100kmh) the cruise will increase the RPM by over 500. It is a Software issue that puts the car into sport mode for some reason. Kia will not admit its an issue but there are numerous threads about it! Because of this issue, using cruise decreases mpg
