KTM finally made a great 300? Seems to me they have been making great 300`s for years, love my 2020 300 xc!

I've never really enjoyed them... Just me. Really enjoying this one though.

Ive been riding my 2022 300xc for a week now and I love it. Making excuses to myself just to go and ride it even if its up and down the road to get the mail 😀

Seems like decent practice for Romanians ! Nine of that in Ontario 😳

Have you ridden the xcw? Wanted to know the difference in feel for both bikes, torn between the two bikes!
@7thirtyseven2 жыл бұрын
Yes, about 200 hrs on the 2020 300XCW. Both good bikes, XCW much plusher suspension. I got about 15km higher top speed on the XCW but around less "lively". Gearing on the XC is great for singletrack but in the really steep stuff seems to be in-between gears sometimes in first and second.
@meenafarag99272 жыл бұрын
@@7thirtyseven very good to know! Which would you prefer? Maybe the xc can be geared down to accommodate for the really steep stuff?
@7thirtyseven2 жыл бұрын
@@meenafarag9927 yes it could but then you would loose even more top speed.

Curious as to where abouts this riding area is? Rode MX my entire life and now looking for a change of scenery. Great video btw.
@7thirtyseven3 жыл бұрын
Cool, if you can find a good off-road area it will seem more multidimensional than MX... this is just NW or Calgary Alberta

Hey Howard, what is your take on the ccps issues on the TPi bikes? I am thinking of getting a 2 stroke to go with my 250xcf, but don't want the problems a lot of people are having.
@7thirtyseven3 жыл бұрын
To be honest, most of the "issues" are "online" issues. In practice I only know one 300 with real issues and it isn't a CCPS problem.
@nickfiorante11683 жыл бұрын
Did you keep your 250xcf?
@7thirtyseven3 жыл бұрын
Yes sir! However I got permission to start training for next year's Romaniacs so I jumped at the chance to get a 300 while they were available.

@@7thirtyseven Good on you! The 250xcf surprises a lot of die heart 2 stroke fans. It finds traction in all kinds of situations.

Nice bike Howard! I got the '22 TE300i. Love the new braktec clutch. Super easy pull.

So you've been a KTM rider for many years now, what are you comparing this "first great 300" too? A 250?

Every other 300 I've ridden...

How's the power delivery compared to Monty's Sherco ?
@7thirtyseven3 жыл бұрын
I don't think Monty's Sherco has ever had the throttle twisted so there is no real way to make a comparison. :)

What a shame the dirt riders (in the pass) prefered 4 strokes over 2 strokes causing the manufactures to stop making them. But, now many , many riders want them. I hate to be negative but the only way to get them is give the cry baby dealers 2000.00 over retail.
