I have a 2020 xtr x2. Reliable, good on gas, smooth power, some heat in cab but not bad. Wife and daughter love it. im ok with it. I would like something a little smoother on the washboard trails. I think its a good mix of utility and sport but i find we use it less around the property than we do the atvs. For utility they should have had a turf mode to unlock the rear end. stock it tore up our lawn bad. had to switch to less of a knobby so that it could drag the one tire without digging a trench. So if you have plans for utility id say its a good buy. if its mostly going to be trail riding then i would suggest something more sport orientated. my 2 cents

Just buy an Rmax. The wolverine, despite having an 850 twin, is slow and feels underpowered. The suspension on the R-Max is fantastic, great power, excellent handling, really nice list of features. IMO, they should just discontinue the Wolverine, theres no need for it in the lineup when the Rmax is so good.

This argument really grinds my gears. YES... they are getting expensive. Have you noticed that EVERYTHING is getting expensive. the R models are the absolute TOP of the line... they are going to be more expensive becuase they include ALL the latest technology and designs. Polaris makes a FULL lineup of sport SXS's at all different prices. You dont HAVE to buy the R models. Now, your argument that $20 000 is too much to be "affordable". I ask you, why would the cost of toys like these stay the same as everything else in the world gets more expensive. There was a time when the base model RZR S was under $10 000. That was over 10 years ago when the economy was different. Inflation, costs of materials, rising costs of manufacturing, labour etc etc etc. A chocolate bar used to cost 65 cents. Now they $1.65 in canada. If a chocolate bar has gone up in price by over %100, why should a RZR stay the same.
