2022 Ram 1500 TRX: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive and Review

👋 Today I review the all new 2022 Dodge RAM 1500 TRX! This has the Supercharged V8 right out of the Hellcat Charger and Challenger and is off road focused! The 2022 RAM TRX can handle jumps, baja runs, deep water and mud, and snow! The TRX also features launch control and can be a muscle truck out on the roads! The 702 HP supercharged V8 packs a punch and you can hear the supercharger whine! I love that V8 exhaust rumble too! Exterior of this Diamond Black TRX looks so mean! The functional Beadlock wheels, 35in tires and all the black accents really make the TRX stand out and dwarf even the Ford Raptor! This is 8in wider then the standard RAM 1500 and looks amazing! The interior is your fully loaded RAM with all the leather and alcantara trim. Premium audio system and the massive touch screen infotainment screen in the center. The paddle shifters are also really large and tie in the performance look. Driving the new 2022 TRX was fun! The power is very useful and really can put you back in your seat! The handling can adapt to be super soft for off roading but then tightens up a lot in Sport mode and feels pretty planted.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I know Street speed got in deep trouble by jumping his TRX on some natural reserve and wrecking his brand new truck in the process. I am not a fan of that guy at all, used to watch his videos on his KZbin channel years ago when he first started but he became a gigantic wanker as time went on. 😡 Ford can easily one up Dodge by putting their 7.3L Godzilla motor and pair it with a supercharger on their Raptor. I wish they do that, Ford Raptor with a supercharged Godzilla V8 motor and 10 speed auto. 😌

I saw one at the Auto show and it’s an amazing truck lol except the thin steering wheel. My Jeep SRT has a beefy steering wheel and that was disappointing to see in a 80k+ Truck.

Honestly just ease it into hard driving. Vary the speed a bit and just do a lot of well rounded driving for the first 500 miles. Then get more on it for another 500.

The truck is very environmentally friendly in certain situations, because it would use less fuel going through muddy terrains and make it through vs a FWD economy sedan which will get stuck. 🤗

@@waic1639 Or you could use a diesel pickup truck or diesel off roader and go through muddy terrains in that. But they’re not very common in the United States; they’re more for Europe. We get the Land Rover Defender as diesel variants in Europe, but petrol ones are also available.

It’s a used car dealer, so it doesn’t have a markup, just what used vehicles are going for. You can buy a new one with no marks ups at the right dealer but might have to wait several months.

The front seat is set at my height (5'10", that's not short). Full size trucks have tons of leg room. Go sit in one and see for yourself. I don't have the seat moved all the way up..
