First off, this is a really cool video, high quality, and super helpful, so thank you. Something to consider would be to keep the music at a more consistent volume with your vocals and a more subtle increase so that your vocals don't seem as quiet and a viewer doesn't need to keep turning the volume up and down listening between the two. The music becomes very loud compared to the vocals. I'm watching on my TV and sound system, so a little different than phone and computer, but just a suggestion for future videos coming from a video editor and mograph artist. Looking forward to more content!

What is the purpose of the carrier bearing spacer ? Some other lift kit maker pretend it is not necessary ?

Hi ADF Crew, question - can you provide more detail on the wheels, like exact size and offset that fit with those size tires? Also, when you say they rub in the front where exactly are they rubbing? The inside plastic of the fender or the outside? Thank you!
@theadfcrew14312 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes we can these wheels are Method 17" 314 with a +30 Offset. Tires are 245/70r17 Toyo AT3. Currently we are running a Milestar tire they are running a lot smoother and take a lot less weight when balancing then the toyos. That being said the tire will rub on the inside plastic fender and a small amount on the mud flap. Our engine skid plate has a relocation slot for the front fender plastic to pull it out of the way of the tire so no cutting needed. if you have any more questions let me know!

This kit makes me nervous. No bumpstop modification in front most likely means now your suspension can bottom out on the strut assembly and cause damage. I don't know all the details of this kit, but no suspension geometry correction on front also means more stress and control arms are not at optimal angles.
@theadfcrew1431 Жыл бұрын
No Need to be nervous our kits are tried and true with lots of people running them for 100s of thousands of miles with no issues. Our kits correct for any geometry change when lifting. But you will always be stressing cvs more then factory after lifting a Subaru there just no way around it unless someone goes full CUSTOM.

@@aaronmarc8687 off the top of my head these wheels are a +28 offset and they slightly rubbed on a support bracket in the front, which needs a slight tap with a hammer to bend a it slightly to not rub but if you went with more off set you wouldn't have issue there. you would want our engine skid plate for the relocation of the front fender plastic and then you wouldnt have any rub. but keep in mined some 245/70r17 tires are slightly larger then others of the same size.

That's the height the wilderness models should have been from the factory! Quick question, I've got a forester wilderness, you think I could install the lifted rear struts with the subframe disconnected in the forester like you guys did with this one? I had lifted my previous '19 forester, and it was a huge pain to get the rear struts back in! Probably the hardest part of installing the whole lift.
@andersondesign-fab44052 жыл бұрын
Yes subframe can be disconnected to install the struts. However, disconnect the sway bar end link on the control arm and the lower section of the hub. Install the struts compress the lower control arm with a jack to lift it in place. This is only if you are not installing the multi link spacers at the same time.
@JDS-Dalton2 жыл бұрын

@theadfcrew14312 жыл бұрын
some times the carrier spacer will fix this. but if its more of a wobble and less of a vibration its usually because the trans is tqing to much on take off and the cv angles are at sharper angles. putting a transmission bushing in usually fixes this 100% of the time or will minimize the wobble you speak of. we also have a install video of this install.
