Ah New Years - the time when people set resolutions, leap into January with fresh optimism and say "this is the year I will track the weather every day! And crochet (or knit) 1 row of this blanket every day! And never lose motivation or frankly forget that I'm doing this and now I have a huge bag of yarn and a half-finished blanket and I've lost track of what days are and I forget what I was doing and I'm hungry"
Well, this year I skipped all of that and just went straight to the end - I made a whole year's temperature blanket......in a week!
I cast on 268 stitched and crocheted a seed/linen stitch for 365 rows (obviously). I used a size I/9 crochet hook, and the final blanket came out to 54" x 72" (not including the tassles).
100% recommend, will do again. I'd just make it a wee bit wider next time.
