I had an 18 wrangler sport. It was really stripped as my husband says. No heated seats or remote start or power windows. We paid 33,000 & sold it to a dealer for 34,000. I could go anywhere in good weather & in snow. I flipped the back seats up & hauled my dogs around. We put bigger tires added a new bumper & winch oh & running boards. It was great. I loved it and I miss it a lot. Should have never sold it😿.

👍🏿# 217. Even Ben can not justify $50k for a 2 door sport Wrangler. Five years ago you could buy a 2 door Rubicon with options for less than $50k. Hard top was $995 now $1895 Auto transmission was $1400 now $4k Paint options was $0 now $500+ Tire size was P255/75 r17 now P245/75 r17 Axle ratio options was 3.21 or 3.73 now 3.45 or 3.73 if you get expensive tow package Lifetime powertrain warranty was available but has since been discontinued 2 door base price was about $23k now its $31k soon to go up to $33k with the '24 model Destination cost was $995 now $1795

They want $4000 for an automatic transmission? Then more of them should have a stick shift, but you can barely find any of them with that standard feature anymore.

I test drove a regular Sport (crank windows, manual mirrors, tiny screen) for $36,000. The I was finished the salesman ask what I thought. I told him "great vehicle if it was 2003 not 2023". Jeep is still using halogen lights on their 23s. I've had 3 of them across my driving life - there will NOT be a number four.

Ben, this is NOT a base model. This one here is a Sport "S" with cold weather group, hard top and various add ons. A base model would be a Sport with manual windows, manual locks and a manual transmission with a soft top

Actually, I have a hard top automatic 2024 Sport (not S) but yes, crank windows and manual door locks. Still has air, cruise, big touch screen, Apple CarPlay. Enough for me!

Over $4,000 dollars just for an automatic transmission?!?!?! That's just ridiculous! I tried to spec a Wrangler Sport with what I would want and got a price of $35,550. Personally, I would go for the Willys Sport which when specked out how I want it comes to $38,045.

Willys Sport is gone starting with 2024 model. they are forcing you to a Willys...so you'll be at about $44K

That Autotans is the cost + the cost of the 3.6 V6. The base Wrangler comes with a Turbo4 and a manual trans. To get the auto box with the 4 banger it only cost 2K more.

Jeeps are crazy expensive most the things that comes standard with other trucks is coming as an option with Jeep. You can buy a truck with way more options for the same amount of money! Said that I would have buy a Wrangler Freedom edition, most of the options are included in that one and it is the same amount of money.

Its relative. Compared to a Crosstrek sport that’s now $32k, $38k isn’t bad. Considering I got a 4-door Sport S in 2019 for $32k yeah seems like a rip off. I couldn’t imagine how much mine would cost now.

That's not the base Wrangler, the S is a level up from the base (for 2024 that's a level up from the Willys). Jeep refuses to sell an affordable Wrangler. You cannot order a base Wrangler with manual transmission (2024, yet), which would MSRP for about $32k (not including destination). So much for options.

Alright creature comforts are good.. but yeah why pay for a wheel and tire package.. that you’re going to remove and replace.. rubicon.. no the 410gears ain’t enough for 35’s Comfortably so you really have to regear anyway and I’d rather have 530’s/ 513’s anyways to run 37’s at least.. so yeah Willy’s is a great trim to start at even though you get off road wheels with that Package
