Hi what car phone holder are you using! And how did you get it to stick to the dash?
@dial2fast Жыл бұрын
Since I didn't find any phone mount that will work for the rogue, I made a metal bracket to fit this car, and then stick the magnetic phone mount on it. It's stuck on using automotive 3M double sided tape which can be removed if I want to in the future.
@RenWater Жыл бұрын

It was only beginning of the year that the Nissan dealers stopped charging a $3-4k premium above MSRP. But the dealer inventory is still low. So right now the dealers I went to are pushing hard to sell at MSRP. They are very reluctant to give any discounts below MSRP. After some hard negotiation, I was able to get about $1700 below MSRP. Keep in mind this is for the SV trim. I can tell you those days of getting $3-5k off MSRP (pre-pandemic) are long gone.

I am suprised that Nissan didn't include leather wrapped steering wheel in this trim. Great review! I am wondering about durability and reliability of this new engine
@ofcbob6391 Жыл бұрын
Wow, looks like they took away the turn indicator LED's on the outside mirrors, can't believe Nissan would do that. It is included in the SV trim for 2021 and 2022. Nissan did include something for 2023 that that 21's and 22's did NOT have: the auto stop/start feature that almost everyone hates!
@dial2fast Жыл бұрын
Yes Nissan have removed several features on the SV for 2023. The 2021 SV have around view camera system. They took that feature away. And price went up for 2023.

I also have 2023 Nissan Rogue SV. I bought it 2 months ago with 5 miles on the engine so it's new. Do you turn off the auto start/stop feature? Also, do you use regular gas? And lastly, how often do you change your oil?

@@tashiem6938 Yes they did take that feature away from the SV trim in 2022. The price has gone up and features taken away. Nissan wanted to push some of more desired features to a higher trim so people pay more.

I understand your concern as I also had similar thoughts before buying. But this VC Turbo engine has been used in the Rogue for 2 years and there has been no issues reported. Before my purchase I also spoke to a personal good friend of mine who work at a Nissan dealership for over 20+ years, and he has not seen any engine issues on this model of Rogue. I personally love the car. The engine has a lot of power, and comfortable ride. No regret buying it.

Electric cars would be made to be disposable. The batteries are expensive.
@Newtttton Жыл бұрын
While electric cars may seem like a great way to reduce carbon emissions and save money on gas, they may not be the best option for everyone. Electric cars require regular charging, which can take several hours, and their batteries can degrade over time, leading to reduced driving range and increased maintenance costs. Additionally, electric cars may be more expensive upfront than conventional cars, and the cost savings from not buying gasoline may not be enough to offset the higher purchase price. For those who are not prepared to commit to the unique requirements of owning an electric car, a conventional gas-powered car may be a better choice, offering the convenience of a quick refueling and a tried-and-true technology that has been refined over decades of use.
