2023 Rivian R1T walk through

Rivian is a new car company making EV vehicles in Normal, IL. They currently make the R1T pickup, R1S SUV, and EDV ("Electronic Delivery Vehicle") used by companies like Amazon. The R1T was the first EV truck to market and features four motors, 835 horsepower, 908 ft⋅lb of torque, and a 0-60 in just over 3 seconds. I received my truck on March 31, 2023. Since then I've driven over 3,000 miles and find it to be the best vehicle I've ever owned. In this video we walk around the outside, check out the inside, and go over some of the unique functionality of the vehicle. I've tried to record this for beginners, and show what some of the buttons do. I also mention a few of the upgrades I've done to mine already. December 2023 - 9 months of ownership and over 6,000 miles driven. Still loving this vehicle, and they keep getting better with new software updates. It is a bit weird driving a vehicle that's more "software" than "truck", but very nice comfort and features. 😊
