As a B player asking from AA+ players for them to always have to push 1st shot after the break is a great edge because it takes away their break and run. You may have to get balls or games also depending on the diff in skill level. You can shoot free on your breaks if you make a ball as your opponent has to push when you miss. You give up any safety play though on your break. Another good one is they play 10 ball rules call safe and call pocket you play 9ball rules which takes away all the good luck from them.

Break and run outs are so easy for the level of these guys. These rules allows for more tactical play, safety play, kick shots. I dont’t want the biggest international tournaments to remove the jump shot totally (i use the jump stick myself), i believe it should be limited though. like max 2-3 per match . You play a difficult safety shot, and there’s an easy jump escape for your opponent.

Look at Chess -precisely the same game for hundreds of years. Jump shots used to be a scratch, now we're playing Snoopy and the Red Baron -and arguing about that too. Alternating breaks is as far as we can really go, I think. Whatever big-wig there is handing down these unreasonable decrees, ought to honor the game.
