I own both trd and xse v6. Honestly the only difference outside aesthetics is the sound of the exhaust and the overall nice suspension tuning which honestly isn’t utilized fully because I have nowhere to drive it to it’s full potential but the xse has so many more features. So what I did is bought the trd kit and installed it on my xse and upgraded to trd rims aswell. Honestly my xse does everything the trd does but with more features and with the added trd setup I feel I’m getting the full Camry experience.

You generally able to negotiate a lower price as MSRP is not Dealer Invoice Cost. Chances are you could get $500 to $3000 off. Don't like the Offer or Price, go to other Dealerships and shop around. MSRP is the norm since COVID-19 has hurt dealerships. Dealer markups on cars, just walk away from the place. Don't play the Salesperson game and becareful of the Numbers game. Get everything in writing if promised something and have it signed by a Dealer Manager or Finance person. Do not rely on the Salesperson having the authority to offer you something since in reality they can't. Never sign anything without reading and thinking it over, need more time, go back another day. Most Deposits are Non-Refundable. Dealer minimal is usually $1,000. Avoid making a deposit on the 1st day as the car should be there tomorrow. Common sense and smartwise. Give yourself time, anxiety and being impatient causes rush decisions. Salesperson will pressure you because they will say, can't promise you it will be here later or tomorrow. They want your money now and signature on the contract. TFS way of ripping people off by increasing ARP every January. Beware of Toyota's famous "QC Holds" aka Quality Control delays. The new way in the last few years to shaft you over. The day the Toyota Dealership Finance Manager runs your Credit Check through Toyota Financial Services "TFS" you have a 30 Day window on the current APR. If you let the Credit Check go passed the 30 Day mark, your APR agreement is Expired. TFS will then issue a higher APR aka higher Interest Rate. You can go to your own bank or credit union for a pre-approved loan hopefully their APR is less than TFS. Dealership markups on cars is B.S. (don't pay and walk away), fake increase as We Put Nitrogen in the Tires (Prove it), They will attempt to sell you Accessories, Warranties, Paint Protection and Underbody Rust Proofing. Be careful of who the 3rd Party Service is. Dealership gets a Commission on selling you 3rd Party Services and offer you Zero coverage because it is not a Toyota or Dealership provided Service being performed by them. You are best to seek and get Services you want on your own terms. Don't let the Dealership get a Commission on same service you could obtain for a Cheaper Cost by going there yourself. Toyota has been in the business of App Subscription Plans. After the Trial Period, do not Renew as cancel them because they are not needed or required. Except REMOTE START because the car computer is rigged not to work unless you pay for the plan. Another Toyota ripoff scheme. $80 per year. Please consult with Toyota as this may change in the future and require no payment. **Automotive News reports that, starting in 2023, buyers of new Toyota and Lexus vehicles will get a 10-year free trial period for the company’s Safety Connect and Service Connect systems. **As long as you equip your new Toyota or Lexus with the company’s new infotainment system, you get 10 years free. For Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto get Ottocast U2-X Pro dongle for $99, it works great. If you really want a Toyota VSA warranty, you think cost is too high, call as many Toyota Dealers you want in the country "USA" until you get a nice low price. Your dealer wants $2,500 for 7 year / 100K miles Platinum Plan, call around to other dealers as might get one of same plan for $1,900 maybe as low as $1,600. Huge mistake, never ever Trade-In a vehicle, it is like going to the Pawn Shop. Sell your car Privately or may consider giving it free to a family member. Never sell to a friend unless they know everything you have done to the car and they know what is possibly wrong with it. Selling to a friend may end your friendship. For example, your 2015 Vehicle you paid $35K and in 2023 is worth $20K. Dealer offers $14K as Trade-In, you just lost possible $5K to $6K in your own pocket.

Note, some states like Texas give you a tax benefit for trading in. Some dealers, especially for well kept vehicles, give close to private party (CarMax, Vroom, Carvana, etc)

I'm guessing you haven't driven the TRD Camry to say it's not sporty. Mine slices through corners flat and dose 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec.
@alienbolt Жыл бұрын
These reviews and recommendations are based on comfort and practicality. What most consumers don't understand about the TRD trim is that it's marketed as a "track toy." Track toys sacrifice comfort and convince for handling and rigidity for those aggressive cornering. The Camry TRD is more in line with the RC F track edition, Gt350, and Z28 (even though those cars are more trackworthy)

I was stuck between the 2023 TRD amd the 2023 XSE 2.5 liter. The TRD doesn't have the panoramic sun roof, heated steering wheel or heated seats..nor does it have navigation. So 1 went with the XSE 2.5 liter fully loaded🤷🏾♂️

I can't consider buying one until they get rid of its intrusive headrest. Had one as a week-long rental a short while ago and could never find a comfortable driving position. No way to keep the headrest from smacking me in the back of the head over the tiniest bumps unless I slouched forward uncomfortably. All the great technology and quality and fuel efficiency of this car means nothing if it's uncomfortable to sit in. It's a shame to chase away customers due to one critical design flaw.
