I was doing Botox but now decided to stop because it doesn’t last so long for so much money! I think I will go natural and just accept my skin. I will continue to moisturize and use Vichy Mineral 89 which works so well! I also use Tretinoin. I’m tired of spending so much on Botox even though I really like it.

What might make it easier to stop is the fact that every single batch of botox is tested on animals. Those tests are considered some of the most painful ones done.

I don't go for trends in skin care. I always consult my dermatologist. A good skin regimen approved by dermatologist is a must. Sunblock and eating healthy is a must. The only thing I added in my skin care is the serum for day and night. My skin still looks unblemished and fresh at 45. Start skin care early and be consistent.

@@dramirkaram I have read and heard that retinol was good for wrinkles but would thin the fine skin around the eyes if it was used to closely to them. I asked a facial plastic surgeon friend of mine about that and she confirmed that it would. However, in your videos it definitely sounds like that is not the case. Can you please comment to clear up the confusion on that? Also the products with retinol and hyaluronic acid dry out my eyes. Is there anything that can be done to avoid that effect besides not using it? Thank you for providing and sharing so much valuable information.

I've been using snail mucin products long before all the hype, since 2016. And I swear by it, it's the most amazing stuff I've ever used! Omg! The same thing happened to me. I have The Omnilux and I loved it at first…initially, it even seemed to help my skin. However months later I began to notice moles, and age spots which were not noticeable prior to using the device. I take closeup pictures daily so, I can definitely see the difference. Perhaps it’s just not the best option for some skin types, or perhaps the light should not be so close to one’s skin. I’m not sure, all I know is that I have an expensive device that I no longer use.

I kept thinking it was from a couple trips I took to Mexico this year and maybe it was the sun (despite using suncreen daily) but I've been religiously using the LED lights and I'm just starting to think it's not a good thing for me after I heard dermatologist Stefani Kappel mention in one of her recent videos to be careful with these devices.

Snail mucin has been around quite a long time. First time i used it was in 2010 i believe and was all the rage then and appears to be the case as of now. “No snails were harmed in the collection of mucin!” 😊 my understanding is that the snails are treated very well and that stressed out snails do not secrete as much mucin. I’ve used it and liked it; it’s very hydrating and tons of folks love it. There is a lot of speculation that the LED devices with near infrared light can cause hyperpigmentation in some people, whereas the “red light” setting tends not to cause this problem.
@mkryu
@mkryu 9 ай бұрын
I also heard that the snails used for mucin extraction are food grade so I’m wondering if once they get their use out of the snail, do they get sold for consumption? So ultimately maybe it doesn’t make a difference if they are treated humanely if they’re gonna get slaughtered for food anyway. Horrid thought but I’m just wondering.

I’m in my mid 50s and have sensitive skin. After so many years of trying so many products, I found a regimen thar really works for me which I want to share and hope it helps at least some of you who read the comments. At night, I cleanse with Kiehl”s ultra facial cleanser, then I apply either Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid or Mugworth Essence toner, then Ayurveda Experience Manjish Glow Elixir mixed with a little castor oil, then follow Imi Bigan Yoga face massage. In the morning, I cleanse, apply The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, then the Niacinamide that comes with The Ordinary combo pack, then the Cerave Ultralight Face Moisturizing lotion spf 30. I also use COSRX snail mucin sometimes when I don’t have time to do the facial exercises so I use it instead of the Ayurveda Experience oil. All of the products are reasonably priced and last a long time. My skin has never been better and I’m very thankful I feel like I can finally delay the aging process 😊

I don't know about how it affects ageing, but facial QiGong is wonderful. It's part of my nighttime routine now and it feels amazing.

Snail mucin is absolutely and positively wonderful!! Farming snails?? Honestly where do you think silk comes from? Moths and the process it takes to become one. Hasn’t hurt anything yet. How utterly silly of you. Then tonight you will eat a steak 😂😂😂😂

Hey Doc. I have acne rosacea and have not been able to tolerate actives at all since COVID. I recently had profhilo and i can feel my skin is smoother with less irritation but its only been 2 weeks of 1st round. Would you recommend your products to someone who has had these issues. My practitioner is looking at laser genesis and sculpra later on the track. I would appreciate your thoughts. Best channel on KZbin. Thank you for educating thousands and thousands of people with such authenticity. ❤

Thank you making this video and the other trend video about procedures that need to go away. The amount of money I spent on these laser treatments that I now know didn’t work and damaged my face, I could have put a down payment on a house. I could have probably had a chunk of savings to see a credible surgeon like you. In 2024, ill be spending 0 on these procedures and focusing more on skin care and approved at home devices that you've mentioned. I can't wait to try Trifecta!

Hello. I had a fat grafting in my face and hands. Would the red light theraphy somehow harm these procedures? Stupid question but red light melt the fat? Thank you very much

Was curious if red light is compatible with a Retinol daily routine? And electrostimulation seems contradictory to Botox use, it is an important question to consider. Am a 52 years old male, on a daily routine of vitamin C, Retinol and started Botox before my 40s and keeping a full consistent routine, sunscreen included as a MUST. Thank you Dr. Karam! Happy holidays to everyone! Greetings from Paris France !

From what I’ve read on Dr Rajani’s website on his new red light mask it states you can use retinol with the masks. If your skin is already accustomed to retinol without irritation then you should be fine. If irritation is an issue, then you should slowly reintroduce either the retinol or the LED mask into your routine until your skin becomes accustomed.

Naughty naughty. No doubt you have explained everything very well but you did what every KZbinr does…… sell your products You doctors are millionaires If you truly cared about people you would sell very affordable products that work but then I guess you will be out of business 😮

Just a fyi, I was using red light for awhile now and I LOVED THE RESULTS, but for some dumb reason I decided to use a syrup (vitamin c,e, niacinamide,& hyaluronic acid) with it, it literally took 3 days for my skin to get worse. Like I all of a sudden had deep smile lines one morning. Slowly there’re “going away”, (but we all know there’re still there 😭) I don’t want that happening to anyone if that’s what the cause was but I do not see what else it could have been.
