2024 Acura Integra Type-S // OEM Acura Accessories Installation

In this episode of this series, our team will be installing a full OEM accessory package from Acura. We started off from the interior with a set of Illuminated Door Sills, Titanium Shift Knob, Alcantara Steering Wheel and a set of Premium Type-S Floor Mat. Then we move onto the exterior with a set of Carbon Fiber Exterior Mirror Covers and Carbon Fiber Decklid Spoiler. And we finally finished off with a set of Bronze Optional Wheels and Michelin PS4S Tires. This completely transformed our 2024 ITS and also gave it a personal feel.

I just had my local Acura put PMC TLX Type S wheels on my MDX and their mounting machine scratched the inside of the wheels. I complained about it and they said "that's just part of mounting wheels"..... Classic. Wish everyone was as careful as you guys.

@@cbruno12180 It's on the back of the wheel, but basically looks like a stamped head of a meat tenderizer and actually slipped too so it scratched a couple inches. It's on all 4 wheels too. Will most people know it's there? No, but when you pay a couple grand for brand new wheels especially at an Acura dealership, you'd think they wouldn't do that. Not to mention these are basically the nicest wheels you can buy from Acura minus NSX wheels.

Yup, If it were me i'd brush self etching primer first, touch up color, let it flash then mix a tiny amount of 2k clear, Is it overkill? Sure but i blame my OCD.

Hi guys, I enjoy your guy’s channel. I have an RSX Type S. I was able to get 3 DC5 Type R Spoon Throttle bodies before they were discontinued. I also have an FD2 Spoon Type R Throttle body that I wanna put on my CSX Type S and I want cruise control on that too. Are you guys able to put my cruise control components from the RSX to the Spoon Throttle body? I read on the RSX service manual not to adjust the throttle stop screw on the throttle lever. Otherwise I would do it myself. The nut on the stop screw and throttle lever have been marked yellow by spoon so I guess they have a specific torque spec to them. Let me know! Thanks.

When you take the clip/boot down off the shift knob for install, it doesnt go back the same feels much more loose now. Could easily push it down with your hand whereas before you couldn't.

Hey John/Mike I’m a subscriber to your channel and I love your videos. After seeing this latest video I have a question. I purchased my ITS here in SoCal and pick it up on July 15. My question is I’ve seen some of the mods you guys have done on your Acura vehicles and I’m looking to put Eibach Pro Kit springs on my ITS… Are the springs a recommended mod and will adding then void my warranty?

If you altered your suspension, this does not mean your warranty will be voided. You may still lose some warranty, but not all of it. For example, if you incorrectly installed lowering springs and cause issues in the suspension, your dealer can and will void the warranty for the suspension system.

@AHC Garage Was it necessary to remove all those panels to install the carbon fiber spoiler? I remember you mentioning that you had to zip tie the spoiler underneath in your Integra Aspec but you did not show that in the video. Would it be okay to just screw the spoiler from the two side holes which are accessible without the need of removing all those panels? Thank you guys!

I own the 2023 Integra and hardly have any accessories on it. Not that I didn’t want any rather the prices were rediculous ! For example those carbon fiber mirror caps were a $900 upgrade after installation and tax which is insane for what your actually getting. Also the carbon fiber spoiler is around $1500 upgrade out the door and it’s just a upgrade over the spoiler you already get .

I'm having the dealer do the side skirts and rear diffuser. I'm have the spoiler and I'm doing that myself. You can buy the parts and do most of the work using these videos. The mirror caps (and other parts) can be had for less than half of what you posted if you don't buy from the dealer.

I don’t think you really have to take of the plastic trim on the hatchback to install the spoiler. Couldn’t really tell in the video but can anyone explain what I couldn’t see ? Isn’t there a screw on each side that you just need to take off.

When you order a side mirror assembly for the new Integra, it doesn’t come with the body colored cap. You have to remember to order that too. So I thought the carbon fiber accessory for the mirrors was a new cap piece. But it’s an overlay? That rises above the housing in an obvious way? 😒 When the body colored cap that’s being covered is a pop-off, pop-on affair?

It’s somewhat subjective. But look at it this way, you can always sell the stock wheels for wash out some of the cost of the copper/bronze wheels 👍🏼

For summer, it will be Toyo Proxes on the high performance wheels (I had them painted gloss black by an auto painter), and for winter the all season wheels with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5's. Ready to eat some WRX'S😂.

I like the look, but idk if "mirror caps" are worth the price. Why is the mirror housing itself not carbon fiber again? This is a 53k car? Why Am I adding caps, it just seems dumb, and you actually are adding weight to the car, so the point of carbon fiber is mute here. It's like adding the fake hood scoop from Toyota Tacoma's and old Mustangs, it's all for looks and has no functionality what-so-ever. At least the aluminum sill plates provide some light and are more premium actual sill plates, and it's not a "sill plate cap".
