I was kinda hoping to see what was selling more in the realm of vintage and antiques.

I think because pieces and vendors are so unique, it's very hard to pinpoint specific patterns in vintage item sales. Even working the register most days, it really just depends on what catches people's eyes or how an item has been displayed. I plan on doing another video focusing specifically on vintage.

I was looking for what is selling in vintage and antique booths. Ideas about how to improve selling those items.
@gildedgoodsvintage10 ай бұрын
I go over this a bit in my newest video! I think the best advice I can give for antique items is to dial in on a specific style (farmhouse, cottage, mcm, etc.) or way of selling (antique clothes, vintage toys, records and stereo equipment, etc.) that way you get people who know to come to your space looking for those items that fit them! That and putting yourself into your booth! Sharing why you love items. Showing how people might use them in their homes. And relating to your customers with shared interests!

Wow so many great ideas! I love how the dealers put items that can be used together- I'm going to try several of them! This was the best antique mall information KZbin I've seen!

Hi! I just found your channel this afternoon and have watched a few videos and this one has been my favorite. It’s great to see your perspective as someone who works the front counter. I am a booth owner at a popular antique shop in Savannah Ga. This fall I brought in several consumables that I’ve made and they’ve done well (high end hand poured candles in vintage containers, matches displayed in unique ways, as well as hand crafted organic body care in antique ironstone and china pieces). I’ve got more ideas and this video has encouraged me to keep working on those ideas and plans, thank you!!

Great idea to combine items for a gift set. I loved the board and towel. Charcuterie boards are a hot item now for entertaining, so maybe a board and cheese knives/spreaders or little bowls displayed near. I think I'll try this!!

So it's more of a craft mall then .

Not necessarily. We have over 100 vendors. I would say most of our vendors feature home decor, both vintage and wholesale boutique. The other portion is clothing and crafters. Usually they take up the smaller display spaces.

We have 46 large spaces 25 are home decor based and 20 of those sell vintage and antique.
