2024 Citroën C3 Aircross | No Isofix

I have a bought my C3 Aircross late 2023 and I absolutely love it. It's always been such an underrated car, it's so quiet, comfortable and has a great torquey engine. I was annoyed when they announced this model. However, after going and having a look at this new model is certainly feels like a step down. There might be some additional specification, but it feels cheap. Closing the doors sounds tinny, the seats aren't as soft and comfortable, and the dash is very plastic. Safety spec is also a massive step down. I would highly suggest driving the pre-facelift model back-to-back with this and you will see. Also, pre-facelift the prices are fantastic now.

Both the Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross have just undergone a comprehensive spec and feature update... Which does address Alot of the current short comings... I would definitely wait for this updated version to be launched & then by consider buying one.

This is the updated version! There is another derivative coming and the new models will have isofix, so I have been assured.

@@julietmcguire Hi, In India both of the C3 and C3 Aircross recently went a slight refresh, addressing some spec and feature concerns... For example, there's now Auto climate control panel, Cruise control and the switches for the rear windows are no longer located in the centre tunnel, & have been moved to the doors(& other updates have been done) .... These updated models are yet to come to South Africa...So these ones should be the better buy, in my opinion.

Nice car, sadly made for India, how can they omit autolock, ISOFIX, cruise control and LED lights. They are competing with the likes of Tigo 4 and jolion they might trick one or two people who want something different 😂, but generally they will not sell many of these.

Next year, we (South Africans) will receive the Opel Frontera, which is largely the same vehicle. This vehicle will likely address every issue that you have with it. However, the price point is still unknown.

It appears as though have not even read the manual before reviewing. In the UK version it is on p76 under 'safety' in the manual.

It must be a test of some sort, all the cars I have been in that were made since the 2000s had ISOFIX. It's about time governments restrict cars that are made unsafe on purpose.

This thing is a C3 AirCross by name only, nothing else. _ It's a R100k cheaper than the previous car because it is R100k less of a car. _ Citroen was not known for being a premium brand, but the brand was all about innovation and the ultimate comfort, and the cars looked and felt the part. You bought a Citroen because being in it, from the ride, materials, seats and comfort and refinement, felt like being in a Luxurious Isolation Chamber, and this car is not that. _ This car is ultra budget, and Citroen only by name. From the lack of ISOFIX, to the evident lack in refinement, to the terrible NVH, the low-rent plastics and materials and ... wait for it .. That roof with the exposed contours for the roof beam braces and cheap-looking roof headliner The only nice thing about this car are the seats. I know you are Team Kia, and so am I, and here's my controversial comment for the day: The 2024 Kia Picanto looks 10x more luxurious and nicer than this thing, and it has ISOFIX. People should just save their cash (and Trust Issues) and just buy a Kia Sonet. Not even the 1.2T engine can redeem this car.

I have a 2010 japanese car that is more premium and safer than all these Indian cars. It has ISOFIX, 6 airbags, You don't need to lock each time you drive, more power, torque and comfort. My car was not even the top trim, there was a more premium one that I couldn't afford. It's crazy what people spend their hard earned money on. These cars are targeting young professionals, who might start families soon, with no ISOFIX, 2 airbags and paper thin metal structure.
