I bought a 2024 Badlands 2.3 manual transmission about a month ago. It is quickly becoming my all-time favorite vehicle. I absolutely love this thing!

Unless you’re doing the Rubicon trail or Moab every year, skip the Sasquatch package. I have a 2023 2 door black diamond V6. Ford performance lift for $1,700 and 35” KO2. Saves tons of money and does more than I’ll need with all the Sas looks. Ford performance tune is worth it, but locks you into premium fuel.

@@RhinoAg4 wheel parts did it for $800 with an alignment. But there’s KZbin videos showing how to swap coil overs yourself if you have a floor jack and basic tools.

most people buy the Sasquatch package just for the appearances but if you can get the exact Sasquatch package look for a fraction of the price I think that’s the way to go

Ford doesn't recommend using 35" tires on the base model axles, but people seem to get away with it. I put 33" Toyo's on my non-Sas Big Bend and they look pretty good. Yes, the Performance tune (on a 2.3l) is well worth the $$.

Its not just the tires its the front sway bar disconnect as well and rear and front locking diffs and the vinyl seats as well as the all rubber floor that can be sprayed out. I want one just as a toy to build a overlander. Badlands is the only one I will consider but to each there own.

Everglades might be the best bang for your buck besides the 2.3 which is all you can get but you get the sas and mid package hd bumper winch snorkel

For the asking price of these trims, Ford still needs to offer the classic 5.0 302ci motor, Especially on the heritage model. The original Broncos from the 1960's had 302 motors, & thats what ford should offer.

I prefer the 17" Machined Carbonized Gray-Painted Aluminum Wheels of the Badlands, but of all the 2-door models (Everglade, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Badlands, Wildtrack)... which is the smallest in overall length? What is the cheapest package/options to get: most quiet ride, automatic transmission, keyless entry best navigation electronics / mpg

Hard top cracking and delamination from Bronco inception date to infinity should be reported immediatly to NHTSA as a complaint. This is probably going to be an issue that NHTSA is going to order a recall or a class action lawsuit will need to be filed eventually.

You forgot to mention that you cannot order the heritage editions. They're considered specialty vehicles so you can't get what you want You have to get what Ford gives you.

@@rxibotbro your dealership is lying to you I’m getting frequent updates from ford directly that shows me a timeline of my order I’m most likely getting it in 1 month they are moving pretty quick with my order. Your dealership is talking about the limited heritage not the regular heritage. I went directly to ford website spect out my bronco heritage then just sent it over to my local dealership as soon as the order banks opened on August and boom my order was in they sent me a confirmation didn’t even need to go to the dealership. Don’t confuse the limited with regular heritage you can’t get a limited it is whatever ford wants to send to the dealership and they are only building 1 for each dealership.

@@mathewpadron4606 Heritage seems like the best bang for your buck when getting the SAS package; glad you were able to order one at MSRP. I'm a big Toyota fan but their ordering / allocation process is terrible and you probablly won't get exactly what you want. Plus, mid tier truck is 45K or more and the heritage is only 5K more at MSRP. I might look into ordering one this year if interest rates fall and I can get one at MSRP.... if so one more manual transmission out the door.

No truck bed here, which is why I just bought a different vehicle. When are they going to move from the Gen 1 inspired Bronco to a "Full Size Bronco" copy? Until then I'll keep my '95. It's a short bed truck, SUV, and convertible all in 1, and not monstrously large.

I don't own a Bronco, thinking about it. But, like you, I can't find any SUV as good as the older versions. I know it's a completely different situation, but my 99-01 Honda CRVs were better than any new SUV I've driven. Many ppl agree it's the best CRV in the Honda lineup. Luckily mine has lasted over 200,000. Considering the popularity, you'd think the car companies would hear that and simply update the original version of what was successful. Same with the 2nd gen of Toyota Rav 4 from 15 years ago. I wrecked one and though the front end sustained damage, I didn't have a scratch on me. And, honestly short of the front bumper bar damage, it had little damage. I was interested in the Bronco bc I thought it might hold up to the original. Seems as though it's the same story.....

OK, so, now in 2024, you cannot get a Big Bend with the v6. I am sure this is because there are so many broncos sitting on lots, why not FORCE anyone that wants to buy a new one into the higher trim levels. You really cannot buy a new one with a v6 under 53k. There is no base model at all any more. 4 cylinders is a complete joke. So, its about 53k now for a new bronco 4 door with a hard top and v6. As bad as the car market is right now, it is NOT making prices come down at all. Not a bit.

If you are thinking about buying a hardtop before or after 2023. Hardtop delamination and cracking issues in top are still a problem. Also, consider the devaluation. 2023 outerbanks highlux package had top cracked and delaminating right at 20000. Paid north of $50,000 for high/lux new outer banks in 2023 and it's worth $35,000 with not wrecks in 2025. No resale value and ford hard tops on Broncos are still failing.

Car sales for US manufacturers the last 10 years haven’t been driven by innovation or anything exceptional in design. They have been mostly based on features and customization. Case in point $20k different between trims with two basic engines. Its the same when you look at the variety of the Broncos direct competition Wranglers

You can no longer get the V6 in the Big Bend. Ford forces you to upgrade trims levels to select it as an option. Absolutely shameless.

the 4 cylinder makes almost as much power at the v6 on premium fuel. With ford performance tune, you make the exact same power as the V6. People sleep on the 4 cylinder. it's a great little engine. the 4 cylinder also only has one turbo. Less turbo's to replace in the long term = easier on your wallet.
