I’ve always stood by Toyota and the Tacoma but if they don’t step up there game for this coming line up for midsize trucks they might just lose my business. I think that will go for anyone in the market for a new midsize truck in 2023. The only thing that just needs to be changed and should come to an end as well is these stealerships. They need to do away with salesman and have more of agents that assist with helping in buying one rather than them trying to get some cash off you for there own benefit.

@@peytonponder8488 - Not necessarily in a truck. But as a traditionalist I too was skeptical to try paddle shifters when I bought my Jaguar F-Type S. But the result is stupendous. Trying to get 400HP down, through a corner and dropping a rear wheel in some water it jumps sideways - but I still have 2 hands on the wheel so no big deal. When you are reaching for the stick and it jumps sideways in a 911 or something like that, you get to re-evaluate your whole day, as you struggle to keep it on the road 1-handed.

Good info. My biggest concern for the Ranger is that because it is built in the same plant as the Bronco, production capacity will be limited due to the fact that Ford will undoubtably place a higher priority on Bronco production which means the Ranger will carry on its red-headed stepchild role in Ford's North American truck line up. Ford wants you to buy an F-150 or even a Maverick instead of a Ranger. Ford could have given the North American market a Bronco pickup (think Jeep Gladiator) instead of the Ranger and kept the Ranger for other markets which is what it was designed for anyway. If you think that would have been a bad idea just look at Gladiator sales. It already outsells the Ranger here and probably always will. I also doubt very many buyers would cross shop a Bronco pickup against the F-150 or Maverick the way they do now with the Ranger. If someone needed a more capable work truck than a Bronco pickup they could buy an F-series and if they needed a smaller, less expensive and more efficient truck they could buy a Maverick and that's exactly what's happening now anyway. Building Broncos only at Michigan Assembly would also probably be more efficient in lieu of two completely different body styles not to mention the fact that a Bronco pickup would also likely have a higher profit margin than most Ranger models.

My guess is that the 2024 Ranger Raptor will start around $60k and will have limited production. My order will be in once the order banks open up!
