I own a Tesla Model Y which is coming off lease soon. I've been looking around to see if I want to change cars. I test drove the GV60 today - it's the first EV I've looked at that has made me think twice about re-upping with Tesla. Your video answered a lot of questions that I had (i.e. the heat pump). Thank you!

@@livewirereviewIm going to decide to buy an ev suv. What is your suggestion between these models Kia ev9 Chevrolet equinox Chevrolet blazer Genesis gv60 Could you please help me to select the best one? Thanks

@CompstonCagan-r9v The EV9 is the largest 3 row with the best value in the list you've provided. The rest are slightly different size 5 seaters that vary in price by up to $20k. For performance and quality - GV60. For price - Equinox (squishy soft ride, not sporty at all) For size in a 5 seater - Rwd Blazer with 102kwh battery (but you could look at the Cadillac version for what this costs) But the EV9 has everything. Size, fast charging, value, features, etc... it's the best one.

This thing is just *so* posh. Wow. Build quality, looks amazing. Under 400KM of range? I suppose that's not too bad, especially for that lap of luxury. That crystal ball is ridiculously cool. Also the "virtual" noises / gear shift thing is just hilarious -- future humans will think we're so completely redic. "I need my car to make noises and jostle around so I feel cool." Not that I object, it *is* cool. For our generation. lol. Good land, $1000 of service every 60K km!? Man. Does the performance of the coolant actually degrade that much over time? Are there no aftermarket options? Why do they make big wheels so heavy - I presume it's cheaper? What's the alternative, carbon fibre wheels? Your point about "total cost of ownership" is a good one. People should really do that math. Sure, combustion is cheap, but run the numbers of how much you're going to pay on gas an maintenance. Just going on averages, electric tends to win by a wide margin. And that's why you pay more up-front for electric.

@FraserGoodTimes the blue coolant just breaks down quickly. I'm hoping we can just buy aftermarket coolant soon. Tesla's blue coolant doesn't break down like this does. Why don't we use that instead?

@FraserGoodTimes Also, people just like big wheels, I guess. They do make for better contact patch with the tires, so there is a performance aspect to these.

Does the virtual gear shift work automatically or do you manually have to change gears
@livewirereview6 ай бұрын
@Dx-so7jm it works as an automatic transmission, or you can shift yourself. Once you pull a paddle, it starts working as a manual.

Tesla all day long. Not comparable, the genesis is way inferior. Ty for the video

@@guccisasha you have a point! Tesla is easier A to B and goes 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds!

Drove a model y and a gv60 , Gv60 is leagues ahead in almost every category except for the mobile app and some of the onboard software , Only thing we were not a fan off was my wife said she would never use the boost button as she would prefer to just step on the pedal In the Genesis you can turn off regen breaking so it coasts like a gas car which my wife prefered as well
@livewirereview6 ай бұрын
@Dx-so7jm All reasons why some prefer the Genesis. The boost button is great for passing though. I honestly like both and have a hard time picking between them because they both have great strengths in their own way.
