Those bands or whatever they are on 2 additional headsculpts, add so much creepiness to this guy's overall look. Such a small detail can change the looks dramatically 😮 I will definitely pick this one up when he hits BBTS. Seems like this is the definitive version of the Ghostface

So these are Fun-world licensed not Scream. They've done a tonne of variants including bling masks, flag masks (USA, Ukraine etc), Scarecrow, Pumpkin and skull. Most importantly they own the rights to the ones from scary movie. So NECA could in theory do a parody version with all those masks. Would also love to see a dead by daylight one too.

I think Toy Shiz is aware of that, which is why he said "wink-wink" after stating it was straight from the Scream franchise. But for people who don't know, yes, these Ultimate Ghostface figures are Fun-World licensed, not Scream licensed. They are based on the Halloween costume and mask used in the Scream movies, but not the Scream movies themselves. That's why there are weapons and masks included that Ghostface never used/wore in the films, why they don't come with a cell phone, and why the robes aren't screen accurate. The "Ghostface Takes Manhattan" version is probably the closest you can get to an actual Ghostface from the movies. It's more or less the Scream VI version, even if it's not advertised as such. Also probably why it was a NYCC exclusive rather than a general release. But yeah, NECA can't get the rights to Scream so this is essentially their work-around.

I thought about picking this one up but I ended up getting the last ronin leo and I couldn't afford any higher shipping (since apparently walmart has it so the shipping goes up the more figures you have in the order), so I'll just try and get this one once he hits stores.

What are you talking about? Walmart does free shipping for orders $35 and over. The shipping cost shouldn't be going up the more figures you add to your order. Are you trying to buy from third-party sellers?

@@SlasherIncorporated not with these. I tried ordering the last ronin leo and the ghost face right from the walmart toycon page (the link that NECA themselves posted). the shipping for 1 figure was almost $10, then I added the second figure from the same page and the shipping went up to over $15.

Relax, you'll get another chance. This isn't going to stay exclusive. Toy Shiz says in the video at the very beginning that it's a "first-to-market, so eventually it will go elsewhere". Just be patient and keep a look-out.
