My Dad challenged me to a Father vs son tug of war in our diesel trucks! He's using his new 2024 Chevy ZR2 Duramax and Ill be using my new 2024 GMC AT4 Duramax. Last time we tried this It was a bit of a catastrophe.. but today its game on!

Firstly, I'm on your Dad's side in regard to the "Pull Bar" it may be a generation thing, but I thought the exact same thing.🤣🤣 As for the dent made by the hitch, I think you should design and build a small part that you can sell to other owners etc. to protect the tailgate.

You can lock out the top portion of the tailgate by having the key with you at the back of the truck and holding the top button. Once the taillights flash, it's locked so you don't accidentally open it and hit the hitch. Reverse process to unlock it.

Rims tires paint match the grey to the black fender pieces. Color match headlight tail lights everything there is. 22 or 24 rims with a nice offset wrapped in a 35-37 inch tire.

I wouldn’t say the GMC looks way better, they both look good! I like the Silverados tail lights a lot better than the plain looking GMCs, I would have left that bug deflector on it helps protect against chips and it looked good!I bet that adhesive was hard to remove on the doors! That dent on tailgate would bug the crap outta me too, I hate dents and dings! Also I hope your guys didn’t pay brand new prices for trucks with 3k miles on them already, I bought mine brand new in 2023 and only have 3900 miles on it after a entire year!

The 1 ton has a 12" ring gear and gives you all the horses from the jump. The 3/4 ton has an 11.5" ring gear and cuts horse power thru the first 3 gears i think.

The digital dashes like to go out and send you into limp mode. And the duramax loves having new def tanks installed. I worked for Chevy. Had a co worker buy a brand new AT4 and the first week he had it the dash went out and the truck was in limp mode. Brought it back to the dealership, they fixed it two weeks later and halfway home it did the same thing. They use tech from the failed Cadillac que system that Cadillac has had issues with for so many years.

A PDR (Paintless Dent Remover) guy/girl can easily remove that little ding in your tailgate in like 30 minutes, and you'll never even know it was there.
