This is a base truck interiors just fine for what it is and you get great engine. Infotainment system is great. Everything runs just beautifully on regular gas.

Go sit in an SLE with the new interior and you won’t look back. The interior is just too outdated for a gas $60k truck. I’d get a gas Silverado LT if I was trying to save money.

Nice video. I think you’re a little harsh on that interior design. I think it kind of falls into the “Internet Hate” category more so than actual owners/users hate. It works great. No weird ergonomics. No shifters blocking screens or radio knobs. Still has a 12 volt. Anyways, I think the GMC is a little overpriced here. For the same or less money you can get a Custom with everything it has (except LED headlights) and 20” wheels and just a better look in my opinion. So I say the Custom HD is the best value on the market.

The GMC and Chevy 2500 is a great work truck. But I need vinyl seats with a height adjustable driver's seat. It's not available on either.

As far as the interior goes, this is for someone who is a blue collar worker who doesn’t want to trash a nice interior. I’m personally looking at a Chevy 2500 Custom. I like the look of the Sierra 2500. I’m a landscaper, so even an LT interior seems a little too nice for me to get into all sweaty and dirty.

Bro Transforces on a GMC! I had them, they turn into a smooth rib tire in about 15k because the siping doesn’t go all the way down in the tread block. They suck. Otherwise a nice lower trim truck IMHO.

for 59k, would just get the SLE instead....for 62k you get new interior, leather heated wheel with audio controls.....makes no sense to buy one of these for this price....for 64k you get a loaded SLE with surround cameras.....totally worth 5k extra.......when your @ 60k already whats a few more

Chevy 2500 custom better looking and cheaper. Can't stand those squared looking wheel wells. Especially with those small tires.

GMC is offering a -40 degree cold weather steering and hydraulic option on its website configurator that Chevy doesn't or I would have never considered the Sierra 2500. Haven't been able to confirm if its even still available with GMC yet but if it isn't I'll be going with the Chevy WT. Not the biggest fan of GMC Chrome but my vehicles regularly live at -20F or less in winter so the cold weather package option has brought me to GMC.

59K is not bad at all considering loaded ones are 100K but that interior is awful.

gasoline isnt.....you can buy a high country or denali for 70k this interior works great, it just doesnt look like a SUV......everyone wants all the fancy stuff but then complain there too expensive

@@kirkdunn1379 I just want the Pro trim gaser with as few options as possible. The dealer lots are full of fancy chrome boy toy trucks with video game graphics on the screens and off-road suspensions starting around 70k. Fancy is what everybody wants and the dealer wants to sell so it looks like I'll need to order a work truck and wait a few months.

I drove one with the 6.6 gas. Didn't feel any more powerful than my 2016 F350 with the 6.2 gas. I went with the diesel 2500HD.

This truck is superb for what it is. The interior is fine, the dash board is perfect for what it is. I enjoy driving and I pay attention to the road when I do. The extra bells and whistles that aren't there can be a distraction if they were. The dash is perfect along with the instrument cluster. Outdated? Not really. But GM does offer more in the other trim levels that are updated. If someone wants the updates they should look elsewhere, otherwise, this truck is perfect the way it is. That being said, this is a great review! I appreciate your candor. Some of us may disagree with your assessments, but I will definitely check back in with you because I appreciate your honest reviews! Keep the reviews coming!

I pull a 44' gooseneck that is usually loaded to capacity. A gasoline powered truck is NOT going to work for me.

Honestly, if you tow heavy and often the diesel makes way more sense. However, if you tow fairly heavy and not that often 1-2x a week… then the gasser makes more sense. I rarely drive more than 20 miles a day in my personal vehicle outside of work… capability is needed many times a year but not every week. I think the gasser would be a good fit for me.
