I have a 2023 Vitpilen. I got it because of looks and I haven't hit break in yet. It is killing me, but I got a great deal on it and I can't wait for the Houston weather to calm down so I can take it on long rides.

It will do motorway all day long, if my Vespa GTS300 can, then the 401 definately can. I always wear earplugs, its those high frequency sounds that can damage your hearing over time and it causes rider fatigue to set in early also. You can actually hear other vehicles and exhaust tones no problem, its a more comfortable ride for me anyway. I use the Howard Leight laser lite ear plugs, very cheap and effective. I can even hear my mate using comms with them in. 👍

Just picked mine up today and did 250 miles back home! Half of it on motorway and I was very surprised how clean the air around my helmet was. Brilliant bike so far. Also I always wear earplugs and strangely the exhaust notes always sound better as it cuts out the ambient noise and you can still hear the exhaust.

Congrats 👍 Wow thats a long first ride! It wont take long until first service then 😊 This friday I will ride to the shop for first service on mine. I will test ear plugs to! Ride safe!

It will be a 300km trip on friday for first service, I dont think I ever go on a Europe tour with it 😆

Tror nog din 401 kommer gå mycket snabbare efter första service, du får upp varningar runtom 7000 rpm fram till dess, sen kommer toppfart vara 180+-

Jag tror den toppar runt 160 det är vad jag läst, om den går lite fortare så är det en bonus. Det räcker för att köra om på motorvägar. Om jag ville köra snabbare så hade jag behållit min Triumph Speed Triple R 😄👍
