2:38 I will say, at least that makes sense in the motion of how the door opens. yes it's a bit odd, but I would argue it does make sense, even if it's not immediately evident. although I suspect a design change (like maybe some lighting or a slightly different placement) could fix that.

It makes sense because you are pushing the door open in one single motion. Actually it makes a lot of sense. Certainly not the worst thing about the TX!

I had a 23 RX for 8 months, and now the 24 TX for about a month and find the door handles and openers just fine. That said, every time someone gets in the car for the first time, they are confused.

I agree the fuel tank should have been bigger like at least 20 gal. It looks like the engine is the same as on the NX and this should have at least 300+ hp for this size and added passenger. I am not sure why this model was offered considering the new GX is coming out soon.

No offense but you don’t understand vehicle positioning if you think this is the same as the GX. This is a Lexus minivan, the GX is a Lexus Land Cruiser.

Apart from the obvious distracting music, I have some other comments. The iPhone pro max keeps shifting and moving on the wireless charger tray and it’s very annoying. They should have added some rubberized material for grip. Also, I love the shifter and the door locks. It is clearly a carjacker’s nightmare since that has clearly become a big consideration on my purchase now 😂

To get the hybrid grand highlander, it's not really much more at all. To get the hybrid TX, it increases the price of the car dramatically. Honestly, that probably turns our family off from this car. Why would I want 23 mpg combined when the same car can get me 35 or 36 combined in the hybrid?

I bought the Grand Highlander Hybrid. Spent $8k less and like it a lot. The only hybridmyou can get in the TX is the turbo hybrid. That’s why the crappy mileage.

I agree. Only worth getting the TX for the plug in hybrid version, otherwise Grand Highlander Hybrid already has most of these features and size.

I have one and it does well. It has enough torque, and it is better than the Grand Highlander. The Grand Highlander is a great option for consumers with a smaller budget.

Electronic "door opener/handle" is a dumb invention that solves no problem. I remember when I first saw in in Corvette, I was perplexed, why the hell would car manufacturer add one more thing that could malfunction?! A car is complex enough, just ask any mechanic!

Toyota owners like myself who've been with Toyota for generations most likely not buy because of the 2.4 Turbo engine. I don't see a point of buying a small displacement turbo gas engine Toyota. I would most likely look for Euro/German brands and use them for a short period. No, I'm not a turbo engine hater. If Toyota brings something like 4.5TD (without DPF) with dual fuel tanks about 47 gallons (180L) I'd strongly consider.

Agree, you don’t get better fuel economy, just lower emissions, which helps Toyota, but long term, will the engine last as long as Toyotas tend to do.

Not a chance you'll ever see a diesel Toyota in the US, especially without DPF. And why would an SUV have the fuel capacity of a 2500-3500 pickup truck?

I think there should be a recall on all the new Lexus models.. Fuel Light indicator goes off at 20 miles. For our ‘23 NX350h I often don’t have gas stations within 20 miles when I’m driving on the highway!

I went to look at this car. God this car is not well made. The inside is cheap as if you are looking at Chevy. The dash board is ugly. This guy has been paid. I would not buy it.
