What the hell is wrong with Mazda not offering bench seats in the second row for the top trim levels? Not everyone wants captains chairs. At the very least, they should’ve designed it like the Honda/ Acura products where you can remove the middle seat if you prefer …huge miss

To ME- it looks greatas for the performance, gas mileage , etc. and should hold up gREAT-- BUT- I don't have any need for third row seating (as MOST people don't)..and I hate 21" wheels with rubber bands wrapped around them.. I wonder if the third row seats would come OUT- to get them out of the way? I could always get smaller wheels (with larger tires so as to keep the outer diameter the same and NOT change the speedometer calibration, and improve the ride.

I've really been looking at the CX90 and loved it. But a review by a mechanic, the car care nut (?) pointed out how expensive repairs would be. According to that guy, there are multiple problems that require pulling the engine to fix. And that requires removing the front cap Things like timing chains (there are 3), which is located in the rear of the engine, one runs the fuel pump, one runs the oil pump, one for the crankshaft And there were more oddities...that worries me

what is the timing chain service interval? Audi put their belts on the back side of the 8s and 10s (maybe 6s too), so timing belt/water pump service was an engine out ordeal as well...

@@JamesOrtonVideo you welcome. I wanted it to be as easy to understand as possible. This was just my experience of course and I hope you can use it. ___________________________________________________ I actually didn’t tell you one thing. (Because I didn’t know how to.) The thing that I experience vary little and only the best videos. When you talk about the car it seems to me vary simple and yet what you say tells something about many scenarios. I got an idea for this kinda video. After you have told about these things about the car you have a video we’re we see the car in different environments like mud or maybe the route. Because some of these things will maybe bite you in the ass. For example in the snow having manual is nice because it might do something stupid. So you also show what this means in a scenario IF it helps many people to understand when they will need to know.

@@philip9485 I understand what you mean, I do actually make some of those type videos, where feature and benefit is given, in the seen and picture lines up good audio good, decent ideas, and then no views, Then I will put something together like this, poor video quality, unfavorable shots and audio, unrefined story telling, not expecting much, and people then show interest or more views are shown in the analytics of the video, its just odd, I have tried everything in 600 videos lol, Its either I shoot in 4k and then its too fisheye, or the camera with out fisheye becomes pixelated after rendering, or just a video I think is perfect, just really underperforms most times, on occasion I like to experiment some here and there, and that might take away some consistency in videos and that I could see being frustrating to viewers, yet I dont want to get painted into a corner where I cant be creative and stuck to a formula. The feedback you offered is very valuable to me and I appreciate it a lot, I hope we can continue a the progression and style that works for all

Except for the infotainment system, my 2014 CX-5 has been a great car. The mileage is great. But the navigation system is horrible. The dealer support is also the worst I've had to deal with. All brands try to upsell but the Mazda regular maintenance is sky high. I take mine to the local repair shop for less than half the price for the same work!

Wow, you're thinking of all the options I'm literally deciding between, except i'm not considring the Telluride, despite how nice it looks. But personally I've narrowed down to the highlander and cx-90, but leaner more towards the highlander because it just looks a little more colorful and up to date in the gauge and infotainment section, plus has been out a couple of years vs the cx-90 being new (potential issues).

@@Bread_n_Butter. really I'm surprised 😮 you actually like Toyota interior more. It thinks it's the worst in the whole industry! The car DOES look good on the outside. And as for functionality the infotainment system of Toyota works fine it's just ugly!!!😂 I can only assume the cx-90 would cost more because it DOES look more luxurious than all the others. All my vehicles leases are up in November so I'm not in a rush hopefully I can sell the cars then so I could buy a bunch of cars. I already know for the most part all the cars I want I'm just stuck on this particular segment. I want three... three row cars if that make sense. Cheap, mid, high end. My high end will be the new BMW X7 for my luxury segment, mid level will be Toyota highlander, cx-90 or the telluride.

The sponge is the idiotic hybrid starter generator which disengages the engine from the transmission on deceleration, coasting, or acceleration from a dead stop. This is ridiculous and dates from The SAAB 99 from 30 years ago where it was called freewheeling. SAAB customers hated it too.

James, Thank you for the acknowledgement. I, too was a big SAAB fan. Did you know that SAAB stood for "Swedish Airplane and Automobile Builders? A great company whose demise was hastened by the CCP, which may be very good at kidnapping and torturing Uyghur men and children, but knew nothing about free-market business practices. The CCP ran SAAB cars, Jets, trucks and marine engines into the ground, and deprived us of great cars and engineering. I once owned a 99 (pre-CCP) with slope back, and 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine. The 2 step hood opening confused many a mechanic. Not really fast, but handled well for a Swedish sedan back then. Good hiway cruiser. My brother had a very old 93 3 cylinder, 2 stroke. Very cool. Should have kept it.

@@rogerspalding5673 Sure thing, I did know it was swedish but not the entire meaning, thats fasicnating in an auto history way, sad too. I always like the 900, and just the other day saw someone driving one of the last 95's designed i really like the shape and looked like they were even laser welding on the roof (seemless) like audi vw, pretty inpressive!
