Thank you! I think it may have been on Premium actually. The difference would be a couple of tenths at best. The torque doesn't change.

250hp and 320 ftlbs torque using premium (93 octane) which is above GTI numbers, but the older 6 speed autobox limits performance.

This will be my next vehicle honestly if I can find one at a good price at John Lee Panama City Mazda in the future I originally wanted a Mazda 3 or 6 before I got the Civic, but now to be truthful Honda and Mazda are my favorite Japanese brands of all time because either one of them are both quality and reliable but I like Mazda more because of no Cvt transmissions at all, but I think this car is nicer than Honda HRV and maybe little nicer than the Toyota Cross, I mean don’t get me wrong Kia and Hyundai are both similar to Honda and Mazda but I feel like Mazda is everything Honda or Hyundai could have been, and Mazda not only used to be owned by Ford prior to the newer models, it actually makes most GM and Ford vehicles look like garbage with the exception of pickup trucks and certain suvs, I think Mazda definitely is on par with it’s rivals but still is better than Honda in some ways, so yes good to know, now for far as the back seats ehhh the Civic after a long ride doesn’t feel much better same with the Accord, I think most of my friends would love to see me in this, and I’m 5.10 so plenty of room honestly! 😁 Now I’ll have to find one used for a good price but if I get it brand new it will have to be a deal I can’t refuse! 👍🏻

They use a 0.3s 1ft rollout, which would make it a 6.1s run how I am timing it (I have that turned off in my RaceBox). Although, I do think low 6s are possible with 93 gas and a cold day with a good DA.

A 6-speed transmission was acceptable a decade ago, but not against today's competition. This transmission does not provide the proper ratio spread needed for off the line performance and top gear fuel economy.

mazda hasn't been doing too bad with their 6 speed and lately have been tuning them very nicely that you don't really notice it, but it is due for replacement and mazda has been rolling out 8 speeds in their range topping SUV models
