0 to 60 is what you are paying for in this car. Car and Driver did it in 2.9 seconds. It will beat most cars on the road with no problem. The exhaust note is good enough to have fun in this car. The horsepower and torque you get from a 4 cylinder in this car is amazing. People need to stop knocking this car down and test drive it before complaining about it. You will be amazed how fast it is...

@@jermainec2462 Sound is not every thing in a car. Maybe for you but not for me. By the way this has very good sound for a 4 cylinder. Mercedes is giving us F1 technology from their racing team and every one is complaining about it. Performance is more important than the sound. I would rather have a car that does 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds with all wheel drive and rear wheel steering and the latest technology and better gas mileage than your V8. Your V8 does 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds. That is a big difference. I will win the race and you can go home and say but I won with the sound. SMH LOL

As an owner 2 W204 C63's, I can say it's not about the speed all the time. There will always be faster cars. An AMG is supposed to be a blunt object, not smooth lines and elegant. It's about the sound and emotion. Mercedes has enough electric cars to offset its fuel economy average.

The 0 to 60 is the most important thing about AMG the sound is second. This 4 cylinder has sound and emotion. Go test drive it before you talk about it. I will win the race and you can go home and say but I won with the sound. SMH LOL

Um ok. Not trying to be that person arguing online. But I have driven the new electric C63 in Germany earlier this year and here in the states at the dealership near my home. The reason i have 2 W204's is one is stock and the other has 800 hp to the wheels. It is not a daily due to buying tires all the time and traction. And trust me, it will beat up on the new one anyday.

Should not be called an AMG, just a few generations ago C63 had one of the greatest v8s ever. Mercedes has lost its touch, most boring brand on the road.

Excellent review, but please reconsider dialogue and music at the same time, the zinc standard of mediocrity. In this review even at the time there was no dialogue, I wouldn't want to make music a choice if I could hear the engine well instead. Thanks.
