@@HennesseyVenomF5 sorry buddy. Some do but most don’t. I saw very few at the track. People serious about road car track work but Porsches. Friend had a mclaren 570 and he tracked it a few times a year but he was the exception

As a 718 GT4 owner, the biggest issue with it and the 4RS over the GT3's is just its basic suspension. Struts on all four corners on this car does not do it any favors on anything but a smooth road surface. Having said that, if you pull out the stock PASM and upgrade to MR or MCS dampers and it really helps make the whole platform more controlled and confidence inspiring. Austin, if you are ever in the Bay Area, hit me up. I have my GT4 pretty heavily modified and can show you what the chassis is capable of. My main list of mods are... Apex Wheels, MCS 2-way dampers, Swift Springs, Porsche Motorsport front camber plates, Tarett rear roe links, Kline Exhaust, and Yoko AD09 tires.

I thought that GT4 RS looked familiar. I drove that with XX at Dominion in Virginia last year for my birthday. It was such a great car! I also drove the GT3 RS and you are 100% correct about everything you said. One thing to add is that the GT3 RS has rear wheel steering, which the GT4 RS does not have. The rear wheel steering came into play big time around Dominion because it has some awesome esses and a nice sweeper. Great video, Austin!

Very good review Austin. I have driven both back to back and agree with you. My preference lies with the GT4 as it is just a bit better in the transitions and feels more neutral in stock form.

I prefer the 991.2 GT3RS. It’s such a different drive. I love the funky rear bias handling but above all I love the superb hard late trail braking and how the weight transfers. My fav car for sure. 4RS makes mental induction noise 😂

It is really sad Porsche are dropping the Cayman due to some new European auto anti hacking regulation The Cayman is better being mid engine than 911 rear engine.
