2024 Suzuki GSX-8R Track Build and Exhaust Install

I started my track build for my new 2024 Suzuki GSX-8R. I'm still waiting on some parts to be released, but here's a video of what's done so far.

Dam dude, your bike sounds awesomely sick. I almost bought one this past Saturday but decided to wait. Now after hearing yours I have to get one. My Honda CBR will probably get a little jealous.

Interesting to see the development in the aftermarket world. Been looking at this and a few other bikes this video makes me want it even more it’s time for an upgrade

Spider has a decent amount of parts for gsx8r now. You can run the spider clipons along with Bitubo fork cartridges. Their clip ons are side mounted so you wont have clearance issues and the fork cartridges will give you like another inch of adjustability in height. I haven't seen anyone messing with the rake/trail but I assume like on my gsxr600 i have 5mm spacer on my rear suspension so it may have a simular benifit for the 8r chassis. I have an entire track build list but I havent decided if I actually want to run the 8r or rs660 or just stick with my 600 for this track season.

@KovertMecha Yeah, I've seen a few options for suspension, but I'm trying to stay with Ohlins or Ktech because it's what I know.

Oh hell yeah, you’re coming down to lightweight? Will the bike be ready for CMRA ECR in August? You’ll be the first person on this in CMRA. Will be great to see you out there… ;) #19…

@daytonasayswhat9333 I will eventually. Just need bodywork and suspension. Bodywork should be out by the end of next month. Suspension may be a while though.

@@tonyugoh that surprises me about the suspension. I figured they’d be plenty of options by now. The RevZilla team has been running those bikes since March. They definitely have an Ohlins on there. When they first had those bikes at Daytona, I took a bunch of pics of them out of curiosity. I know there’s a company called Gears suspension that makes one for it. It’s kind of unknown but it looks pretty nice. Have a look maybe

Did your m4 come with gaskets and what torque spec did you do for the bolt of the header?

@@mikeP64796 It didn't come with gaskets. The torque specs for the headers are 23 Nm.

Is that GB engine guard for gsx-8s 2023?

@@tonyugoh certainly not a stock engine. Superbike build. Plus Larger ATV injectors. Trick air box. Bored throttle bodies. Lots and lots of tuning / fueling / mapping work.
