Congratulations & safe driving. FYI… I have the same vehicle and there are several US model 3 performance vehicles with issues in the rear motor (drive shaft) leaking oil. Tesla now has a TSB bulletin. Have them check it out so it’s documented with Tesla. Love to hear an update if you decide to have them check it.

I have a 2023 model S plaid myself and I only occasionally drive it now after taking delivery of my partners 2024 model 3 performance. I actually like driving the model 3 more for everyday use and my wife is upset that I always drive her car 😅😅

Every time I pull up next to a Tesla I rev the crap out of my Z06 just to be obnoxious and mess with them. Then I do the “Hulk Hogan” hand to my ear at them. 😂 usually they laugh and give a thumbs up. Tesla guys are much different than Prius “guys” 😂

Hows the comfort for long commutes. As i get older i care more about comfort.

@@Hardwaretuned I think it depends on body habitus. My model s w air suspension rides overall more comfortable and the seats are very soft . The m3p is a tighter handling car and the seats have a lot more support so if you are concerned for comfort on long commutes the model s may be better. The model 3 P tho my wife drives 3 hours to and from her work and loves the car and finds it’s more comfortable than her model Y performance. I’m not sure this answers your question or not but those are my thoughts

@@usaf2011 I’m gonna just let it go. We put a lot of miles on our cars so they tend to get beat up anyway. I know it’s sad that this is acceptable but the benefits in reliability outweigh the negatives for me.

@@byus6928 yeah it was unfortunate circumstances I had to be out of town that day for 4 days, we drove over an hour to get it . I’m still happy w it tho. But in all honesty it’s gonna get scratched anyway. The wife scratched my plaid driving it two days . If this were my car , where a little extra care and attention to driving conditions/parking locations/ etc then rejecting the car would make much more sense. Also agree w the ultra red seems to have more defects or at least more noticeable

That’s still very quick for being a Canadian car with the LG battery. With the US Panasonic battery version you probably would have been able to do 2.7 0-60 and maybe 10.7 1/4 mile, around 8.5 60-130 with you weighing only 160 pounds.

Someone actually pointed this out that’s my mom (beginning scene and later w my daughter )and I dunno if she has it behind her or isn’t wearing one. Usually they beep like crazy and it isn’t beeping so I’m not sure.

Yeah I’d take the Model S LR over it mainly because it’s quicker 10.6@130mph and it has more passenger and cargo room and it looks better. I agree the M3P is the better bang for buck but it’s too small for my needs.

@@ChosenMJ we debated the two. Mainly since I have a s already was the decision maker . Really just wanted something different but if the price is the same the s LR is better in almost all metrics except the seats and maybe the handling (but you get air ride which is super nice)

@@officialyasir ironically I found a note in the glovebox where same car was refused prior to us taking . Not sure why but assume paint. I guess they buffed it hence the buff marks and tried to put it back out. Probably why build time was so fast.
