2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE Review | Is the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE the perfect motorcycle?

The original Triumph Scrambler was designed as a throwback to the days of Bonneville’s that were modified for off-road use, but it was largely a styling exercise.
In 2018, Triumph launched the Scrambler 1200 and realised its vision of creating a true reflection of the scrambler ethos - a modern classic motorcycle with genuine ruggedness and off-road ability. In short, the Scrambler platform became a stylish alternative to a dedicated adventure bike.
Fast forward to 2024 and the Scrambler 1200 platform has been refined once again. The latest model comes in two versions - the road-focused X, and the dirt-friendly, but more expensive XE.
We got our hands on the XE version to see what this unique model is all about. But is it really a legitimate alternative to an adventure bike?

Hey man great video! How many miles did you get out of a full tank!? I know they made some changes from last model in tank size and fueling

We didn't ride long enough to get an accurate fuel measurement, but we've seen a few other sources suggest you should get at least 270km out of a full tank.

My XC which has the same engine gets over 200 miles to the tank. I can’t pin piping because I don’t ride it like an old lady every time but you could get upwards of 220, considering you ride it without hitting it hard here and there. The miles per gallon can average around 55, as high as 59 miles per gallon. The technology offers so much information about fuel consumption, for example you can see second to second how many MPG while you close and open the throttle. This TFT display is the best on the market IMO. It has so much.

Triumph 1200 XE 2024 affordable? You gotta be kidding. You can call the 400x affordable but not the 1200XE. 😃😊

Maybe affordable compared to a Multistrada V4 or a 1300GSA :)
