In 2024, Xiaomi introduced the SU7 electric car, equipped with a robust 101 kWh battery pack, offering ample range for extended journeys. With a top speed of 130.5 mph (210.0 km/h), the SU7 balances performance and efficiency. Its electric motor delivers 220 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque, ensuring dynamic acceleration and smooth handling. The car boasts dimensions of 4,997 mm in length, 1,963 mm in width, and 1,455 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 3,000 mm, providing a spacious interior for passengers and cargo.
At the forefront of connectivity and entertainment, the SU7 features a 16.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 3K resolution. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 system-on-chip (SoC), it offers seamless navigation, media streaming, and communication functionalities, enhancing the driving experience.
Safety is paramount in the Xiaomi SU7, with the Xiaomi Pilot driver-assistance system offering 16 functions to assist drivers in various road conditions. Utilizing two Nvidia Drive Orin system SoCs, it ensures precise and reliable performance. Additional safety features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a reverse camera, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Adaptive Cruise Control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Hill Start Assist, providing peace of mind to drivers and passengers alike.

It is very stylish, except for the huge screen detached from the dashboard. I find it a bit vulgar, as somethng alien to the car, a gadget just stitched to it by the owner.

Step 1: we call it a national security thread. Step 2: congressional hearing or sort of things. Step 3: force it to sell the brand to Ford GM or whatever US carmaker. Step 4 : now we can remove the Chinese character on the car.

@@stevel5806 Well, the thing is, I don't need my life to be saved by a car. At least not right now :) But what I might be interested in, is a practical and affordable EV which doesn't look _chinese_. I've seen quite a few Chinese cars, and the design was a deal-breaker. This thing looks great, and the specs are fantastic (if real).
