I drive a 2003 4Runner with 106000 miles. I’m second owner. It’s clean and in excellent condition and in my opinion is as good as any $60,000 vehicle out there. I take very good care of it and no plans to ever sell it. 4Runners are the best.

1988 4 runner with the rear window that rolls down into the tailgate and opens like a truck, 5 speed manual transmission.........Best Ever!! Sold her to a buddy and she's still going strong!! I don't like the hatchback or the door on the back, I want a tailgate on my trucks! I don't miss banging my head off the roll bar but I sure miss that truck!!!!

That looks pretty sweet. I wouldn’t mind having one of those. I’ve never been disappointed with Toyota or Subaru. I would sure like to hit the road and visit some off the beaten path sites. I have a lot of places on maps to go see. Utah and Montana to see petroglyphs and megalithic sites. 👋

My girl had a late model toyota suv. Her kid had a very low impact collision in the front left bumper. Looked ridiculously trivial, but they totaled it. Claiming the frame was buckled, and they would have to dismantle the car to repair. They said it was due to safety and reducing impact danger for the driver, so they mede the frame softer 😂

Richie, this 6th Gen 4Runner looks intriguing but I'm more than happy with my 5th Gen Limited 2017 4Runner as I know the after market parts already fit it well. I still have to install my AFN front bumper which will make it much more adapted to off road. Already did the Pro lift kit with Ironman 4x4 & new Raceline Ryno Bronze Cast Beadlock wheels with KO2s. Your 5th Gen looks outstanding with all the mods!!! Impressive, for sure. 😆

I just got the '24 TRD because it's the last year with the V6 engine. No thanks on the '25. I predict problems, at least the first couple of years on the new 4 cylinder engine :(

I actually like the new 6th Gen 4Runner body style over the 5th Gen, but the boxy look of the 5th Gen really wasn't my cup of tea. It's one reason why I went with the 4th Gen 4Runner, that and of course the optional V8. The 6th Gen styling looks like it took inspiration from previous various generation body styles such as the rear windows looking like those found on the 1st Gen, the more sloped and rounded body lines looking like they were inspired by the 4th Gen with the front and rear of the vehicle looking similar to the 5th Gen. With that said though, it would be a big L if they don't consider an optional V6 model.
