@shanet75113 ай бұрын
@usa1mac Nah, a diesel manual would be stupid. Modern diesels have far too complex, expensive to fun and unreliable emissions systems to make them worth it. That's why the GM suvs are already discontinuing the i6 diesel that they came out with in 2021. Also virtually nobody wants a manual in a soccer mom suv, it wouldn't be able to take as much power and a 6 speed manual still gets lower mpg than a 10 speed auto. Also the powerboost hybrid has wayyyy more HP and torques than the small ecodiesels. I however would *LOVE* a brand new Ford Excursion based on the current Super Duty lineup, add a full rear air suspension like the Ram 2500 offers with its coil spring rear end, and it'd be perfection.

Good review, except I think you made an error in regards to the 3rd row center section remaining higher. It is if you just power lower the smaller right side as you did. But I believe, hope, that the center drop down of the 3rd row is actually part of the larger left side seat, meaning the 3rd row is 60/40, but with a built in center section as a part of the 60 side that can be lowered, but if you leave that center section up and lower the larger left side both the left and center fold all the way down to be fully fold flat same as the right side. This had better be the case, for I won't get it if that center part when all of the 3rd row is down sits up higher so not a fully fold flat 3rd row.

Hi Alex, this does seem more like a hard refresh instead of an "all-new" Expedition. The changes do align with the trends seen in the competition. If Ford continues with the shiny black plastic trim then car buyers will have to consider investing in an aftermarket clear wrap to keep scratching to a minimum. Overall, Ford made a few welcomed changes but the Expedition remains the same, no vehicle buyers will be shocked - except for the people who haven't checked sticker prices for awhile. Thank you, Alex. You're still the best reviewer in the business!

Not thrilled with refresh of the refresh. Clearly they don’t want to spend money on platform update and just bolted on some screens. The middle seat 3rd row folding is an after thought with execution. The space behind the third row wasn’t increased. The steering wheel controls will be annoying. Air suspension is still not available so the ride will still struggle especially with the 24s. Seats look to be improved in the 1st and 2nd row. The exterior styling doesn’t move the needle enough.
