2025 Honda Odyssey vs 2025 Toyota Sienna | MUV Battles!

I am researching which of these two would be better for my family. Siena has better looks, avaialble in AWD, back and forth moving captain's chairs, and impressive MPG. On the other hand, the cargo space and the V6 engine make me want to buy the Odyssey. From the reveiws, it also seems like once the Sienna is loaded with family and luggage, it tends to struggle to merge in fast moving traffic or going uphill...!!?

One thing I will suggest you as a reviewer as well as a mechanical engineer, go with the Toyota. I agree that both f these vehicles are very much reliable but toyota offer better value, space and engine, plus Toyota is a brand whose engines are so reliable that you can literally drive a million miles on it.

@@motornationofficial Thank you for the recommendation. I was fully prepared to buy the new Seinna but am leaning towards the Odyssey due to Sienna;'s smaller engine and price gouging. But, I will keep your opinion in mind when making the final decision.

No youtubers talk about sienna steering wheel. Its very stiff compare to odyssey. Sienna braking is weak compare to odyssey. Sienna engine is noisy. No you tube reviewer talk about battery replacement cost of sienna after 150000 miles which can be $5000 to $15000 if you count both batteries. Take sienna on highway on hills and then review it. Highway mileage on odyssey and sienna not much different. Sienna gets around 32 on hwy and odyssey gets 27. Only good thing about sienna is mpg when you drive in city. Dont buy sienna before test drive on highway with uphill. Honda transmission and hvac can be problematic later but compare to hybrid battery, they may not cost much. Only by sienna if you live way up north but it's not snowing as much now as it used to be. If money is not an issue, buy odyssey. Quite and smooth. Sienna suspension is good compare to odyssey but you get tired due to steering wheel.

Good engine, but it's bad on gas. That's why Sienna is far more appealing overall.

Sienna wins. It's good on gas and comes in all wheel drive. That already makes it superior.
