@@GarryEves hi Garry, yes I’m quite impressed with the paper quality as well. Are you going to use yours as a journal or more as a diary/planning?
@GarryEves7 сағат бұрын
@@jppenandink To be honest a bit of both. With the A5 I'm going to use it as a journal. I'm planning on using the month list as a tracker for various things I like to monitor The monthly calendars will record the pens I'm using that day and week. The daily pages will be used as a a journal - I currently have ather pads thta I use, as I make myself write onefull page every day relecting on the previos day. The "notes" pages will be used to record inked pens so I can eventually have a year's view of what was used. With the Weekly I'm going to use more as a planner.. I currently have another notebook that I write my "theme" for the day, so that will be in the weekly part, also a highlight or problem I encountered that day. For problems I'll link to the Notes pages where I'll document the problem in more detail and what I did to fix it, how it made me feel etc. I'm also using the notes section to record my monthly Pens In Use selection. I've put an initial video out describing my current thoughts on use, but am planning to do a follow-up in February once I have used them for a while and how I changed based on usage rather than just thinking. The biggest thing for me is I'm going to 3 notebooks with these two, and also make it easier to carry around my daily planner. Sorry this is so long.

I’m so glad to hear someone mention Katie Daisy. 😊. I love her stuff. She makes a planner every year and I always buy one to use as my everyday carry. I get them on Amazon and they are very inexpensive. This is important because I often use it on my lunch break at work. If I were to ever get a drop of lunch or drink on it, it’s not expensive at all. They are so beautiful and happy.

All your notebooks look awesome. I love the look of the paperblanks books, so pretty! This year, I've used a variety of notebooks, which works for my random musingsand silly doodling and decor. Also had a hobonichi weeks, which i barely used, never got into a rhythm with it. 2025 will be a hobonichi Hon and 5yr, plus continuing with notebook for testing inks, ramblings, notes, etc. Have hobonichi notebooks in both A5 and A6, which i can chuck in a bag when traveling. There just never seems to be one book for all jobs! Love the idea of pen pal journal, i started one with good intentions but became too cumbersome for me. Maybe I just needed a smaller one that fits on my desk. Yours is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing all of them.

What's up Jayne! I am using so many things my head is going to blow up. "Japanese and English Hobonichi HON...PAL Planner...2 off brand Weeks...Plotter." They all actually have a purpose. I do not plan that much either, I keep track of projects mostly, personal and professional. So very little planner but more organizing. Like you said, I cannot remember much anymore and my filing system is bad as well. So one book for each major thing will work best next year. I started doing that in the latter half of this year and I am more organized because of it. 💜

@@jppenandink The Plotter is awesome from the standpoint that it is modular. Often times I have to re-order pages and the rings lets me do that. The Bible size is a big rough on my large hands though. Writing on the left side of the page, as you can image, is a bit of a chore. Perhaps I should have gotten an A5, but I am usually on the go with the Plotter. I'll figure it out though. I actually am hoping Wednesday hurries up and gets here. I usually do not start writing until the new year.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. This Year I used an Archer and Olive notebook for about 9/12ths of the year and switched into the Hobonichi Weeks but also continued in the Archer and Olive Tn size and I really like the Tn Size for doing my daily to do's but its a bit big for doing daily so next year 2025 I'm doing Hobonichi Cousin for weekly and saily planning and I'm using the Weeks Mega for on the go medical and overflow thoughts in the back .. 2024 I was in too many notebooks I journeled in at least 5 notebooks and it was too much I'm gonna try the Techo Cousin A5 again and if it sucks I'm marching my butt down to the local stationary store and forcing myself to get another Archer and Olive note book cause they are fabulous a bit expensive but wonderful they never bleed paint watercolor everything :)

There's no need to be a jerk about the planner being in another language. "Japanese, Korean, WHATEVER?!!" as if all Asian languages are the same or it doesn't matter. Simply saying it's in a language you can't read should suffice.
