I think you get some great interior features for this suv. i agree with what you said about that infotainment screen, that would throw a lot of folks for a loop. I'm impressed that Mazda put the Inline 6 in and this thing dips!

That's my biggest complaint I'd say

Can you test the new trim on the 2025 “premium sport” with the black rims

I see that his third row seat example was with the second row still forward. The passenger side didn’t look like he could fit at 5’10.

I could have fit, but the seat moves too..

i am interested in your comment about the power not being bad, what do you think are the other options (brands) that has much more power in this price range and 3 rows? and with inline 6?
@BrosFOURRSpeed24 күн бұрын
This is probably one of the more peppy options for the money with a 3rd row.

I just wonder about the cloth trim on the dash. I wonder how that will hold up and ease of cleaning? This is the exterior I want, but with the lower cost engine (if that makes sense). I want everything painted and all the trim in the bright metal. The interior: why not offer a color matched Artesian red interior? It wouldn't show dirt like this light interior will and be a pleasant change/difference from everybody else's offerings in this market segment. I would also like to see Mazda offer this without the expensive, gas guzzling AWD. Lighter, cheaper, and just as useful with RWD.
@BrosFOURRSpeedАй бұрын
Good luck with the search! They aren't high traffic areas that would get touched often though, but cleaning the vehicle often would help as well.

This car gets a lot of high marks. I don't like the info entertainment center with the knob is really weak. And I don't like the very back cargo space. Would rather have an empty space instead of a tool tray(?) or whatever it is. Love your reviews!

It's not a bad suv for the price and what it has! Thanks for the support!

I'm not sure why you'd pay $30K ish more for say a BMW X5. I'm sure there are things in the "ultimate driving machine" that might be preferred, sure. And some people just would do that for the name - that's probably why mostly actually. But for $60K this CX90 seems like a home run.
@BrosFOURRSpeed14 күн бұрын
I paid $60K for my X5..just depends on what you want. I needed the towing capability that this Mazda doesn’t have.

I like mostly all of the features of the CX-90; the major exception is that hideous cloth trim on the dash and the door panels. What in the hell could Mazda have been thinking when they installed that crap into a $60,000 vehicle? It's a stain/spot waiting to happen. That is definitely a non-starter for me. I was seriously considering this vehicle, but under no circumstances would want that cheap, crappy-looking, hideous, tawdry fabric trim. The moron who thought of that crap should be banned for a lifetime from the auto industry
@BrosFOURRSpeedАй бұрын
I thought it looked fine, what would you buy instead?
@weyde1Ай бұрын
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Well, I guess it's a matter of taste. I would consider the CX-70 because of its interior; however my wife wants 3-rows. I'm kinda in a bit of a quandary, b/c I don't want a FWD-based CUV, the X5 is expensive, and BMW cars are money pits on reliability. The Grand Cherokee is nice, but Jeeps also have a horrendous reliability reputation.
@BrosFOURRSpeedАй бұрын
@@weyde1 I own an X5, maintenance is cheap. Haven’t had any concerns or complaints. Toyota grand highlander, ford explorer, Lexus GX500, there’s good options out there.

It’s not that bad. Just don’t be a pig in your car. Take care of it and you won’t have problems. I have one and it’s fine. 🤷🏻♀️ A matter of taste and care I guess.
@weyde1Ай бұрын
@@cat_alyst6306 Ditto--a matter of personal taste. For my taste, I don't like the look; why not just use leather trim on the whole thing. It reminds of the bad old days when automakers like GM, Ford, and Chrysler resorted to such gimmickry as tufted velour and giant armrests on front bench seats to try to convey a sense of luxury in their otherwise inferior vehicles. Mazda doesn't have to resort to these tricks. They've built a first-rate vehicle and shouldn't have diminished it with such gimmickry. That cloth doesn't belong anywhere near a $60 grand vehicle.
