Ben - to change to MPG, its in the radio, under vehicle settings then units. It should be there where you can change to mpgs

Once the engine is proven to be reliable, only then would I consider buying. So give it a couple years and then consider.

I believe it’s only been out since 2023 so that’s still not enough time. Toyota had their Turbo 6 out since 2022 and now we see how that’s gone. I’m with you on this, wait a few years, get some vehicles towing and not just brining kids to soccer (which is still important), and get a 100k on a number of them. I work too hard for my money to spend time experimenting with a vehicel.

It’s nice but I think I got a better buy on the Laramie, has all the luxury I need. I see it even has the same paint drips on the bottom corners of the tailgate. I don’t feel so bad now.

Thank you for the video! That hurricane HO looks impressive. I’m just afraid of longevity. Would love to hear your thoughts of a Ram 1500 Limited vs Denali 1500 6.2.

I have to say, my 6.2 drives smoothly, but it’s really slow 😂. I love V8s, but the I6 TT is a much better engine option. It’s smoother than a V8 and generates more power. Similar to the B58 + ZF8, I doubt the powertrain will be the best in the segment for years. Hopefully, GM will soon put one of their small-block V8s in the LT.

It gets worse gas mileage, and it can’t tow as much. The only reason why they exist is to reduced production cost for the manufacturer who’s already fucking us.

This engine is specifically built to handle high boost…the old penastar platform is not

A basic turbo system maybe not as much than 3-5 psi to gain max 60 hp and 80-100 flbs of torque and call the day as an entry level engine would make sense .Or pay a professional shop to install a small turbo system on a pentastar!

Ben, Thanks for the video; will Ram lend you one for the week ? It would give you/us a much better indication of mileage over that period, rather than just a short drive with heavy acceleration as a feature point. PS; As with the TRX, will "Snow Mode" increase the mileage ...?

What are those flashing lights on the side of the cluster? They keep blinking and Ive seen that in some of your other videos.

It’s the camera catching the refresh rate of the LEDs. Sometimes you will also see LEDs that you can’t see with the naked eye, usually around the dash.

PRICE plus build quality is a big nope for majority of the Ram loyalists. stellantis get into your European head this is the USA Merica, and we ain't bout to spend more for a vehicle that was priced at $60k 3 years ago. No real improvements to the chassis and drivetrain has been made to warrant the higher cost.
