This electric setup but with a 20kwh battery and a little range extender engine instead would be the perfect city car. It would give you about 180 kms city driving which is more than enough for most people and they wouldn't even need to charge it daily, and you have the range extender for longer trips

Thanks for the videos, it's very useful content to keep as a database. Is there a review of the Mazda MX-30 REV planned?

Вот этим нравятся гибриды, хочешь куда то далеко поехать, можешь спокойно поехать, при этом сохранить электричество

At 15.00 min. I wonder 🤔: In Holland one would not ride such long distance with decreasing average speed. The range on electricity is great but, in real life, in western Europe, it would not work this way. Although the CW value should be quite apart from Prius PHEV the result on electricity should not vary much, I assume. 🤔👍🍀

I am not sure if I understood you correctly. Do you mean, that in your country there is no possibility to drive ~100 km distance in a city?
@enricioАй бұрын
@1001cars Nope. Did you drive all this distance in one City? 😃
@1001carsАй бұрын
@@enricio mostly yes, but I understand your point. It works like: you have ~40-50 km from your house to the office and you can make this distance and come back on one charge. I think, many people make 40-50 km on such roads everyday. Also: I checked the consumption and range on a highway, so you have also different scenario where part of the route is on faster roads. Am I correct?

@1001cars Yes. What triggered me to write was that the average speed during your trip first went up and then went down. I did not see you going over 80km/h. which would be a must in western Europe on such distance (91km). The CW value (= aerodynamics) of C-HR PHEV should vary greatly with Prius PHEV. Therefore it's remarkable it can do about 100 km on one charge, IMO. 🤔

I do not understand what is strange with the avg. speed which went up and down depends on the traffic and speed limits. Show me please any 50 km or longer trip where avg. speed is exactly the same during whole trip. Maybe you did not watch the whole movie, but over 80, actually over 90 km/h, I had at least two times. Aerodynamics (Cx + front area) is significantly better in Prius, but you forgot that it is quite low speed, where it is not so important, also: C-HR had better tyres.

Impressive result. The city is pretty flat though.

incredible consumption, too bad that this car cost that much :(
