This video shows my 21 personal favorite moves that I think you should focus on learning when starting to skip rope. Some might be harder than others, but if you focus on proper form and timing, you will get them down.

This is the rare kind of video that beginners admire, and they return later to watch it to analyze their improvements and look for what to learn next. Amazing video!!

I never jumped a rope before... I always thought it is girly or dumb to do it. Now I am 29 and I started jumping rope and it feels so relaxing and awesome. I honestly can't believe I have such thoughts about it without even trying. I can do like 30 normal jumps before I am out of air and things go wrong, but I love it so much. You are great, keep doing what you love!

Nooo. Jumping rope is an amazing workout. Use it as the start of a workout. Go for 10 minutes and see how much you energy you exert. The stuff she is doing here are for show. Just do the bounce step and boxer step. Not this other nonsense. The alternating step is good too
@artemisCybersecurity460

the guys that do boxing is part of their routine! so no worries it is not a girly exercise my man!!! keep on!

@@handsomedubbledeeThe other stuff isn't nonsense at all. Tricks look good but they're great for improving coordination, timing, balance, and all the other benefits you get from a rope workout. It's also very satisfying once you start to learn them and perform them and it gives you more ways to make an already fun workout even better.

@@JDog88no one can disagree with you on that after watching her catch the handle on some of those, her timing is incredible.
@handsomedubbledee
@handsomedubbledee 5 ай бұрын
@@JDog88 I get that but it doesn't dismiss the fact it's not really needed. The boxer and alternating step are all you need. The others do look fun and can add excitement to a workout. The other ones require much skill to pull off. That's advanced stuff. I get all that by doing those two

Wow Nico. I am 70 years Old and have Pulmonary Hypertension and am trying to start skip roping. out of your 21 moves, I was disappointed a. no slow motion to show how tricks are done and b0. you didn't do the side release and catch. I think this is really cool but have nearly knocked myself out trying it. Any ideas and do you have any slow motion vids? Love you by the way. xx
