I am still watching. One of the great benefits to people visiting and residents is that all the public pools are FREE. You just walk in with your swimsuit and towel. Some pool are new like in Kihei. I went to the one in Lahaina and one on the Big Island.

Your little boy reminds me so much of my own at that age. He's so peaceful and content. He reaches for your hand to cross the street automatically, and trusts you 100%. It's the best job in the world watching out for a little one. Do your best to slow down and enjoy this time, which it looks like you already do 👍. One day you will be crossing the street together and realize he's not reaching for your hand and doesn't need to anymore, and the feeling of importance you have bumps down a notch, and it hurts your heart a bit. You all are so beautiful together, and you are giving your son a life full of beautiful experiences. He'll be as easy going as you are as an adult, and that is a job well done on your part. May God continue to bless your family 🙏 My son is 16 now,and still easy going, and a great kid, but I miss looking down at his wavy hair and holding his little hand and exploring the world around us together. It goes so fast.

I got a chance to visit Maui recently a month ago! It was honestly the most beautiful place I've ever been to. I stayed in Ka'anapali where a lot of the resorts are of course, and had so much incredible food. Even got to go snorkeling and ziplining. It just makes me wanna live there if it wasn't extremely expensive..

We squeezed so much into 4.5 days! We did both loop tours and agree that the West Maui loop is much more challenging than the Road to Hana. Plus many wild local drivers in West Maui. It was fun to do once but must be a confident driver!

Thanks for sharing but yes, we don't recommend going around the west side of the island. Residents do not want sightseers on that road and it is not well maintained. Thrill seekers should stick to the backside of Haleakala.

Just returned...stayed the week in Honokowai. We did just about everything: road to Hana, the lava fields at Makena, Kapalua, Kaanapal'i, sunset booze cruise and of course, a few stops for refreshments at Cheeseburger in Paradise! We're already planning our return in 2022.

Been coming for years, honeymoon onwards with our toddler. This is one of the most comprehensive lists of places to try. With our baby, Baby Beach is a go to, but it was a real treat to watch all this. The best thing about it is there's so much more to explore/enjoy beyond this. Hey folks! We love your videos and have scheduled our trip to Maui in late August. Have you ever thought about doing a video on drone rules and regulations and your personal experience using a drone on the islands? Looks like you have a lot of drone footage. We're planning to bring one.

Thanks for the tip on the video idea. Hawaii, like all states, follows FAA Small UAS Rules (part 107). We recommend people get their drone license when flying in Hawaii or anywhere as it is the safe thing to do. I do my best to not interfere with people's beach experience or activity as no one wants a drone buzzing overhead.
