I ate at Providence 3 weeks ago. We ordered the seasonal menu and I assure you we were all full before the main dishes arrived! If you combine the total number of things you eat, it’s about 30 small portions of food, and mind you all I had was a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast before going here for dinner! Yes I indeed paid a hefty price ($1000 for 3 people) but it was an experience and exquisite. There is no need for anyone to fill themselves up with fast food afterwords. Anyone should try a tasting menu for a special occasion and enjoy the experience.

I don’t understand such comments, being uncultured cool now?
@lemonhaze15065 жыл бұрын
Ironically you’re the “uncultured” one; what they were experiencing is a tasting menu, wouldn’t be surprised if the portions couldn’t fill anyone up.

I hate these restaurants you come hungry and you leave starving
@PirateRadioDude7 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Feuk it’s called a tasting menu, you’d get a 7 course meal to taste. But you can always get a proper plate of food in these fancy restaurants if you order from a normal menu. Tasting menu is sort of like an omakase menu at a sushi restaurant.
@twu08_7 жыл бұрын
Yes... except omakase actually leaves you full and satisfied at the end. And is more reasonably priced. Great alternative to restaurants like Providence in my opinion.

You're viewing this type of dining in the wrong light. It's not about gorging yourself on mass produced crap and having leftovers for lunch. It's about the art of food... tastes and sights combining to create an experience that you've never had and that you'll remember. It's a chance to eat food you'd never cook for yourself at such an expert level that you are tasting the best that food can possibly taste.
@larabarney32247 жыл бұрын
This food is so rich you would actually be stuffed....clearly have not had a dining experience like this
@Hessed37127 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Feuk I agree you leave hungry. But you are getting a great experience 😊. But you would have to get Taco Bell on the way home.
