The Holcomb Energy System Generator operates based on Edward Leedskalnin's perpetual motion magnetic currents principles. It employs a three-phase Permanent Magnet Motor (PPM) to excite three interconnected coils. These coils are arranged in a series-parallel configuration to induce self-oscillation, simulating a magnetic rotor in motion. The stator coils then capture the magnetic field generated by this system. With its innovative design, the Holcomb Generator efficiently converts the magnetic field of the stator into electricity, eliminating the need for moving parts. Dr. Holcomb has integrated the best concepts from Leedskalnin’s work, portable electric generators, portable gas generators, AC transformers, and three-phase motors, to enhance the functionality of the Holcomb Energy System Generator. Just yesterday I was watching Christoph’s 3D printed BLDC videos and one striking thing I noticed was the high efficiency he achieved without utilizing stator backirons as well as using only a vaguely ferromagnetic armature core made of iron-doped PLA, still achieving +80% in 600W configurations. By using Halbach arrays he concentrates much of the stator flux however I’m curious as to why exactly a low-ferrous armature worked as well as it did. In a similar fashion to Litz wire skin-effect, I imagine it was more to do with the orientation of the field through a medium rather than the actual medium material. High resolution lamination via 3D printing may serve to carry high-density magnetism in a similar fashion to Litz wire carrying high-voltage current. If magnetic flux takes the path of least reluctance, assuming the flux can overcome a given insulator-in his case the PLA, air bubbles, and layer lines-would that flux not just bypass the insulator and jump from iron grain to grain until inducing upon the copper armature winding?

Not sure whether you mentioned or if I missed it, but the most important fact about energy is that it can't be created. A lot of hokum is based around the idea that energy suddenly appears from nowhere--if you just arrange things a certain way. The real innovation happens where a previously unknown source of energy is found, so I think it's good people try these things, you just have to be careful when it comes to parting ways with your money :)

You are absolutely right about energy conservation laws. Though , there are many people who are researching , so called , "zero point energy" and I mean real scientist , not the regular tricksters , trying to get someone's money. Even Tesla (among other famous scientists ) talked about sea of energy that surround us (I mean beyond static energy and ionic /radiation energy) . Now , problem with that is , that we don't have a proverbial "yardstick" to measure that energy and it is not properly defined (like telekinesis , for an example). Neither we have (that I know of) widely available device (that uses , or converts that energy) , from any of the people who had similar claims (we have some videos , and testimonies , but nothing yet available in the market). But still , everyone loves an idea of putting up an antenna and connecting it with some kind of device , to produce "free energy" forever and ever. 😁

Focusing of magnetic fields is a very neat field. There is much to be learned here. In the same way we try to conserve electricity, we should be looking to conserve other forces within or models. If you waist energy in any of it's forms it's lost for good. Magnetic field lines not confined, could be considered an escape of energy.

I saw the video # and thought it meant, "In the year 2123..." heh. Potential is a fascinating thing since there are many kinds and all relate to what we would call "effective force" (to include gravity without calling it a force). The idea of a "differential" is behind potential and it offers a lot of possibilities. There's atmosphere vs vacuum, altitude above mass (gravity), charge vs no charge (electricity), cold vs hot, (I suppose) momentum of a mass vs a mass at rest (see photovoltaics perhaps or a baseball bat hitting a baseball on a Tee), etc. The idea of focusing something like light or heat or "energy" is one we've used for a long time. Converting oil or coal or peat or wood via fire to heat, steam, and motion of a turbine, is quite useful (it turns out). Combining differential with focus and you get quite an effect. I love the videos. Cheers!

Very informative video Robert, first rate as usual. But I would like to introduce a caveat here to your explanation. Whilst you may not be able to increase the amount of force simply by changing the material build, you can affect the shape of the force being applied to the workload, whilst this does not increase the force it does increase the efficiency of the application of the force, which gives a NET result of a greater amount of work, not because you increased the force but because you reduced inefficiency and loss. More work is more work, in my mind (at least) more work is the end goal, regardless of how you achieve it. Feel free to correct me if I am misunderstanding something along the way. we are none of us perfect. :oD

Many years ago, I thought up a generator consisting of ringed magnets with a central verticle tube containing a conductive gas, as the gas moves slightly it goes through the magnetic field & gets warmer through the induced current, at the top of this is a metal semispherical collector with spikes on the inside, as the gas cools it descends on the outside of the magnets which is shielded to prevent induction. Whether this idea is possible or not, I don't know. Apparently, hydrogen is a good conductor of electricity.

Would it be possible to generate free energy by using the phase change of water? We have a thermally isolated pipe with water in it and a piston. The water is at 1 degree celsius. We cool the water to 0 then we go back to 1 in one minute. At 0 the ice pushes the piston and at 1 a spring or another piston pushes back the piston. With this system we have 1 rotation per minute. By using a a gearbox we increase the RPM. We may also use a lever to increase the distance the piston moves. I have read that water when it changes from liquid to ice it has about 250 atm pressure. Wouldn't it be possible to generate more energy than we put in with this system?

A question kind sir - when we concentrate and focus energy (like a lens) doesn’t it allow you to harvest that energy and make better use with less waste regardless of initial input being the same because of the intensity or density? Or so I thought from what you yourself taught me. So I’m genuinely confused. I only say this out of a sincere hope that you’ve possibly left us with an incorrect perspective because you didn’t continue your thoughts through to what we normally hope to achieve, a “better way” that us every day folks may take advantage of and be empowered by. (Which I really hope this approach of switching magnetic fields with no moving parts will do for us. I seem to remember this idea from another start up years ago but my knowledge was slim to none back then, though I remember it had to do with a incredibly higher efficiency, because of software and programming improvements with the timing and switching frequencies of the electromagnets they employed in their motor, I believe it was an all electromagnetic motor. And it did have moving parts. So maybe this idea isn’t completely new!)Yes, it’s important to have a proper understanding and point out his mistake in wording and possible purposeful misleading and correct it. Thankfully your genius and eye for detail has done that for us and at the same time helped conceptualize the process, which I greatly thank you for. But I’m left wondering, in the end, does it outperform conventional means regardless of how he presents it. Also, you might not be aware, but from my research so far, this is a fella who’s already built a life of success and recognition in multiple fields, and disciplines. Including being a doctor of neuroscience. Besides already, seemingly being independently wealthy in funding much of this himself. I also would point out he is in his later years of life and so far I haven’t found any motivation for him to be anything but what he says he is, doing what he says he has done, for the reasons he explains in his videos. Which is not an electrical engineer, or physicist, hence his mistake in wording, and possible misunderstanding, hopefully!!! This is my first opposition that I’ve ever had to any of your videos, and though it may sound like opposition, it is purely meant as a case of confusion with the highest respect one could have for someone he considers to be one of if not my most valued teacher, and mentor. And the first channel I plan to become a member of to unlock even more opportunities for me to learn from a great master. For real for real, thank you, Robert.

Hello. Interesting experiments you do. I often watch your channel. I have thought for a long time about whether you could somehow get the energy out of centrifugal forces. @VeniceInventors11 ай бұрын
You can only get back what you put in, so no matter how strong the centrifugal force may be and how long it stays there by adding a tiny amount of power to keep it rotating (which is the exact amount of energy lost to friction), it's no different from placing a massive weight on a column, which is then compressed strongly indefinitely, but that compression can't be tapped directly nor indefinitely, you have to let the massive weight move down to get some energy out of it, which won't be more than it took to lift it up there. There's so much energy available from water motion, wind and sun that there's no real need on earth to find and use other sources of energy. What needs to be found though, is a better portable energy storage solution than the centuries old battery design. If all the "free energy" efforts would focus on storage, we might have some real breakthrough by now.

Now, add another magnet at the other also using its N (...two S will also work). Monitor the coil, and move it back and forth. What did you get? Did you expect that? what bothers me is why more speed and magnet passes build up voltage and amps. or charge and amps. when a magnet moves slowly through a coil or inductor, whatever spike in voltage at two turns at one rpm should still be the same charge at 100 rpm. but its not. its like saying that spinning a six volt battery can make it produce 9 volts...of course, if we allow for an aether, and one that is tiny packets of energy, and that magnetic flux can pick it up or gather it and focus it, and transfer it through flux lines into an inductor's matter, well to me that makes reasonable sense...

isn't this "just" the 'electromagnetic permeability' term in the Maxwell equations? Plexiglass does not pass it, and carbon-in-steel does, so like any resistor balances current by 'not allowing it to pass as stochastically often', so ought the plexiglass retard the advancement and building of the electromagnetic field. I'm not sure what the difference is between 'permittivity' and 'permeability' in this case. Perhaps, having many copper sticks around a magnetic coil would enhance the permittivity, allowing the 'backflux' to reach across more air; whilst the sticks themselves should be less permeable, having mostly just solid copper rather than 'air'. Should be worth 'proving something' by varying the atmosphere, and observing the magnetic fields, and having various metal arrangements 'in the field' somewhere.

The shape of steel and the coil are the most important thing believe. I don't think that they are optimized. Electricity naturally flows in a spiral. Even sound waves are not really a wave form. A sign wave is only flattening the spiral. Only looking a the spiral vortex from the side. There is a lot to be optimized when looking at it this way

@@ThinkingandTinkering That is so true. It would be nice if here was a place like the Alexandria Library still where we could all go and share ideas in person and work on them together. So many things would be perfected.

You're not producing a transfer of electricity please create an electromagnetic force using iron what you got to admit is a greater magnetic force in iron core wrapped with copper wire is a much greater electromagnetic force than just copper wire with electricity running alone copper wire.

Is it the reification fallacy? (Wikipedia has a good definition). Reification (also known as concretism, hypostatization, or the fallacy of misplaced concreteness) is a fallacy of ambiguity, when an abstraction (abstract belief or hypothetical construct) is treated as if it were a concrete real event or physical entity. Hence energy is something or an abstract concept (albeit a useful one) not a concrete thing.

Open-Source Energy Systems have existed since the Tartarian Empire. The principals are intellectual property and to my knowledge all the patents no longer apply. Holcomb Energy Systems is fine operating off the mains grid with private energy magnification for their self-consumption however everyone that I know of that's tried to offer a completed cookie cutter manufactured system to the world for a price and trade soon depart this construct habitation destitute and penniless. Evidently, those who know the complete energy system are limited to share without reward or labor compensation and not create it for others. Sounds selfish in one vein of thought but conquering the paradigm has consequence. When we discover these types of systems and employ the technology for ourselves, they are priceless to teach without compensation for teaching others. Pass through energy magnification does require batteries, has a very high "Q" factor but like a sailboat isn't free energy or perpetual motion.

Besides theory: "Inventors" like Holcomb never hand over their devices to experts for an objective test. Although this would help them considerably in finding investors. This alone makes it rather obvious that they are deliberate scammers. The comparison of plexiglass and steel is completely wrong. The factor is not five but more than thousand. This shows the incompetence of the Holcomb people clearly.

@miken762911 ай бұрын
His demonstration test didn't prove anything to me. If you take apart a hoverboard wheel which is a brushless motor with stator in center and magnets that rotate on outside wheel. Remove the circuit board & hall sensors and you end of with a 3 phase alternator with stator in center and power can be generated by rotating the outside magnets. The Holcomb energy system is replacing those rotating magnets (alternating polarity) that require mechanical motion, with electromagnets that would have some kind of switching circuit replacing the function of the magnets. That electromagnetic switching circuit requires power to operate. His demonstration test is pointless. Put amp/volt meters on input coils and on output stator coil and prove there is more power output than input.

I find your argument unconvincing. You need at least to refer to quantum mechanics and use that as your framework.

I cant believe that you dont understand the reason why iron is used in solenoids motors and generators. iron does amplify the flux input from wire carrying the current input, If you understand basic electromagnetic theory and formulas then the factor mu should be known to you. I now wonder if you are a gatekeeper. You need to make a new video after reviewing any basic electromagnetic related info about the amplification that iron provides in electromagnets. Iron atoms contribute their magnetic fields to an externally applied field causing a net gain in solenoid type constructed devices up til the saturation point is reached. Have you never understood this basic prniciple of electromagnetics , How do you not know this by now. You need to apologise to the Holcomb people and your followers for this video.
